Driving style

Okay people... whats your driving style? Its not about the one off adventures u would have had in your car. Its about your overall, general driving habit.

Mine has to be aggressive too. My general mantra about driving... "if you are the worst driver on the road, then you are always surrounded by good drivers."

I'm Aggressive, but not very aggressive. I have my limitations, my driving speed changes with change in driving environment.

Even if i'm on a expressway, i wont cross 160 unless i'm dead sure it's perfectly ok. My car still has tubed tyres, so high speed driving is not my best option. I let the car revv freely, but only upto around 140-160kmph. And that 195 i did was just a one off case, will never try that again, on these tyres atleast.

well , i wud choose my own style .

depends on my mood and the way i find people driving. if all is fine , y disturb the peace i drive in tandem to the smooth flowing traffic.

if in a hurry - im downrite aggressive .....

with my gf - my style is slow and romantic

if im with friends and in the mood - im RASH !!

so it basically depends !!

Mostly aggressive.
although of late in traffic i have been driving really sane. Only sometimes when these bloody call centre cabs irritate me, i will refuse to let them pass.
Generally trying to be a little less aggressive nowadays.

Those call center cabbies are the worst! Specially at night when the traffic lessens a bit.
This reminds me of an incident that happened once... i had stopped at an interaction to take a right turn. Obviously i was in the rightmost lane when this call center cab came and stopped on my right side (there was no road divider)!! And he started to inch forward, trying to block my way as he had to go straight... man that got me furious. So i rolled down my window and with as full a swing that i could manage, landed a loud punch into the passenger side door. There was another cab driver sitting there.... LOL... when he showed me his chappal to threaten me, i took out the wheel wrench that i keep under the passenger seat and blasted a few gaalis in shudhh punjabi. The look on both their faces was a kodak moment. While they were trying to recover from the gaalis, i took my right turn, leaving them stranded on the wrong side of the road to face the oncoming traffic.
hehehe... by the way, anush no points for guessing the company that cab belonged to.

I would choose my own style. I normally drive at a constant speed to work and back . Even on no traffic highways I'm sane ..easy driving with good music. But yes sometimes when I get into the mood I can get aggressive esp when someone the road is trying act smart with me... I'm in a completely different roop that time you know hehe and oh yeah I drive like a mad man if I'm chasing a super car on the streets or atleast trying to chase.

wow! That is impressive, but i really thought you would have got more out of it. But then again, you were driving in the city with the AC on...

Oh BTW, I get an average of not less than 12 kmpl no matter how I drive the Octi

Well the last and only time i ever tried the economy run, the Vtec gave me 18.6 kmpl over a distance of 415kms at a speed of between 80-100, with the A/C switched on and 4 people in the car.

Sad thing is, i don't think i'll ever want to drive that way again. LOL

hey dippy, Ive never really done an economy run with the Octi! Darn thing will probably take 3 months to finish a tankful if I do that!! But, as I mentioned before, highway driving gets me 17-18kmpl.
