Depends on the car actually. I prefer black for a sporty yet stealth look but like red, white, metallic blue ('vette blue) too.

My Lancer is being painted RED with Black highlights. Out of my past 6 cars 4 were Silver & Two Black.....It all depends on which car it is !!

Have not voted as there are divergent views based on which car/which colour

Silver shades my favorite. Depends on the car as well, cant imagine a sports/ SUV one in Silver, It has to in some striking color.

Its the same in India also - just look around at the cars in a parking lot or on the road - you would see a sea of white/silver/light color cars.

Just because many have voted for black, it does not mean that they will choose black when it comes to the actual buying stage. Sort of like Palio1.6 winning a poll here on the hottest hatch, but those who voted for it ending up buying Getz/Swift in real life (for reasons known to all).

Selecting a poll option does not cost anything, while selecting the color for the car which you are paying for is a serious decision.

I voted for black, a decision I stood by when I bought my car. But if there is going to be a 2nd car, it will be silky silver - maintenance is bloody difficult for a black car.
