thanks rehaan. the ford gt is a bit of both. referred an existing picture and worked over it. but there are many that i do that are totally freehand.

GIMP is an open source alternative for photoshop but not as user friendly. I have used both and found GIMP to be a real pain. You can do almost everything in GIMP as in photoshop but to create a similar effect takes more time and at times finding the right tools or effects is also hard in GIMP. This was 4-5 years back. Not sure if GIMP has improved during this period.

Made this, a couple of days back. My take on how a Kwid sedan would look like. Assumed that Renault won't go with a new top hat and decides to retain every existing panel till the C pillar.

The changes:

# Kept the boot fat, to go with the bulky proportions of the Kwid. Plus, it will make it have a ginormous space!

# The roof slopes down once the rear door ends, thus retaining the same door.

# Assuming that the black cladding on the wheel wells will be replaced with shiny plastics, so did that.

# Added a vinyl after the rear quarter glass and moved the variant moniker to the vinyl.

# Upsized the wheels. Please ignore those huge discs, I got too lazy to wipe them out.

A go (pun intended) at the Datsun Go-Cross, how it may look like. Didn't change much of the cladding, because I thought that is only where they would concentrate more, in order to make it look more soft roader type.
