your scorp looks dashing, especially on those alloys. easily one of the best on this thread.
Is it easy to maintain those all chrome alloys?

hi sumit, nice alloys.

even i have done blackening of the pillars & initially had the same problem you have faced with the C pillar. the problematic area is marked in red which makes it look odd.

what i did was remove the third row window & get the vinyl pasted over there too. i would suggest you do the same. also attaching pics of my car to give you an idea how will it look if you do this.

Hi Sumit, nice alloys. I remember seeing the pics of alloys on your innova too, they were also good. Time to upload interior pics.

Sumit,
Sharp alloys and good tyres to complement. Good looks dude! so, you have got your rear drums painted in silver!clap:

Guys,

Is it a good idea to get the tyre wells 'pitch coated'? I am in Hyd and for this climate I do not think it is necessary for me to go for the black pitch coating for full underbody spending close to 5k. The tyre wells pitch coating is for the full bodied black looks behind the tyres.

How is the ride/comfort? Do you feel the same as the OE Tyres or feeling any stiffness? I am looking for the same profile. Let me know the rates too. Thanks for posting this nice pics.

Thnaks lot for your compliments.
I dont feel any stiffness. But, then again, I hardly rode on stock tyres. Shifted to Geolanders within 10-15 kms of taking delivery.
Ride seems much better actually.
The new suspension on the scorpio is really good. Seats are pretty comfy with good lumbar support.

This is our 2nd scorpio.
1st one was sold after doing around 1.75 Lac Kms. It was the CRDi model.
This new scorpio has huge improvements in terms of ride quality, seating comfortable, small things like a/c vents, rear leg room etc.

looks nice, hows the ride quality and difference after your swap, do share, and how much did you paid for them. The vynl tape on pillars looks nice but one of them isnt pasted well and shows original colour on its side lines, stick it properly which would look good.

Thanks for pointing it out.
I will fix it.

Alloys are NEO.
I was quoted 25k for the set of 5. I went for 4 wheels. Costed me 19k after negotiation (for 4).

These are the first chrome alloys that I have tried. I am not a huge fan of chrome. But there weren't many option in hypersilver or machined alloys.
I liked the design and they werent looking that bad after fitting.

NEO Wheels do provide warranty on the chrome paint.

I am pretty sure that scratches whould be more visible on chrome alloys than on hypersilver/matt alloys.

yes, its easy. but make sure you note how its fitted so that its easier while you are fitting it back.

when i purchased that guard, such a guard was not available in mumbai, so it costed me 13,000! but now ajanta guards makes such guards for around 8000 & you also get to see many such guards in bangalore.

Here are a few better pictures of my scorpio.

i loved the tyres & the white cabin lights!!!

That's a Refresh with the old-style dashboard meters. Does the SLE continue to come with these? Or have they been upgraded to the twin-pod style now?

My scorpio is 15 days old.
So, yes, SLE still comes with old style meters.

Yes. Still has the temporary number.
15 days validity still left. I would apply for new number in day or two.

Still looking for good ones to match the interiors.
Would probably go for autoform ones.

Sumit,

Good pictures. Your white scorpio looks awesome with the tyres offset. I always liked that kind of looks for a Scorpio. I have changed my cabin lights, rear number plate lights to all white LEDs. You get these white/blue/red ready to use LED strips. Got the 6 LED in each for all the lights. Also got 6 Blue LEDs for all the 4 doors to glow when opened.
Will post some pictures of my car with all these details by evening today.clap:

...and a very well done-up SLE too! The rims and tyres especially look great. Congratulations! clap:
