The 1st boats pic is on the banks of river Godavari, near a place called Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. There is a River cruise you can take upstream on the Godavari for about 8hrs. River Godavari is supposed to be the widest river in Southern India.

The huts were a small tribal hamlet spotted on the cruise, where the boat stops for taking on water and food. The place is called Devipatnam if I remember correctly.

The 2nd picture of boats with a barn kind of structure was taken on the Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh - about 400kms from Hyderabad.
