Benbsb, nice angle and nice colours. But that graduated framing doesn't work IMHO.

Thanks Rudra. i resorted to such a framing technique when i was still learning how to apply borders. Have changed to using a different style of framing now.

I applied the frame to the original snap which i had with me, hence couldnt undo the framing.

Rudra,
Your pics are awesome. All your recent photos are B&W and the contrast between the white snow capped mountains and the darker foreground is 3D.
Can you please share your thoughts on the reason for the B&W conversion. If it is something technical rather than a personal choice I'd like to know. Also can you post the color version of this too ? I'd like to see it for comparison.

Black and white conversion is by choice. Frankly, weather was dull and gloomy most of the time. Add to that, there was lot of haze. So anything can be pulled out from a situation like this is black and white.

You’ll be disappointed for sure. But for me it’s to look for those various tones in black and white. My in camera processing quality is extremely superior and very often I thank god for selecting this machine.

I go for exposure blending and it’s a manual process. More can be found here. This means that there’s no shortcut straight follow way for any picture. For me a shot is an image and it has to withstand those high-end inkjet colour printers output, maintaining all the details.

I like to remember what I saw. Work out exposures to get the most as information. Process that in different settings to get my final set of tones. Often I go for multi spot exposure for difficult situations and that helps a lot. Most of my images are large print ready. So when I squeeze them down for board, they display less than 30% of the actual details..

Leaf...

One lazy shot..

I have a question. Are the images processed (to reduce jpeg quality, hence file size) at t-bhp server? I can see jpeg artifacts at the leaf's edges in the image, which is not there in the high quality image which I uploaded.
