Nice pictures. The first one has a "Harry Potter" feel to it with the broomstick in the frame. But I absolutely loved the pictures with the Canon & the squirrel.

Also, raVan, took the liberty of editing your photos. Just some really basic editing. First time editing someone else's photos. Apologize in advance if you didn't like them.

Kerala. working here,

OT:I would have easily guessed if i saw you in the technical thread or the motor bike section.
You used to be a guy who used to eat and sleep petrol engines. You were the same guy who some wanted leaves for going to some auto event in chennai/bangalore to meet leela, with your cylender head in your backpack. If i recollect you were the guy who asked a guy to start your scooter in safe mode, when he disturbed you in sleep . I would have guessed its you else where on the forum but when the hell did you get into photography dude? I will PM you my number.

Time for some Camera Photography. I saw these cameras with my cousin, he only shoots on BW film using these 35mm and 6x7 medium format cameras. Now that he has returned to India, he has no idea where to get the films he needs and where to get it developed. Can anyone help?

Well he can shift to Pentax Medium format 645. He can reuse his lenses, and no problem of developing! BTW the medium format makes other cams look tiny!

all i had done was to crop out all outer areas and just left the peacock in the bottom 1/3rd of the frame and the unfurled feathers in the remaining 2/3rds, vertically and end to end of feathers on the horizontal. The steel tower vanished.
check now, i am able to see my earlier post and also wheeler has also posted a little later the same thing. So i'm not attaching again.

Remember to fill the frame with your subject so that it becomes the highlight without any other surroundings/background image to distract the viewers attention from.

I saw lots of BW shots taken by him, that effect is just not possible to reproduce in dSLR except for people like Rudra.

He is basically looking for 120/220 films from Velvia or Ilford. Is it available easily?
