Thanks, the intent was to create something like a sketch/painting since the original image wasnt looking good in color. I use LR to process, and this one has been cropped (quite heavily), converted to grayscale and then tweaked a bit with the white balance settings to get the right shades of grey/black.

Well played with the lines, a tighter crop would have been better.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Thanks Pramod, didn't want to do a tighter crop just to give a perspective. But i guess a tighter crop would have come out better.

Agree with Pramod, a tighter crop would make it a professional looking frame !

An average landscape attempt in the rain, there was no choice but to run with the cam in no time But I find this place very potential (Jakur lake), need to go after the monsoon.

Shaju, Is the access to the place behind Jakkur airfield?
Is it the same road that goes via Prestige apartments?

There is a new right cutting on the international airport road (NH7) between GKVK gate and Yelahanka deviation point, with a board "To Jakkur" thats the start of Jakkur main road. It will reach Jakkur village circle through Amruthahalli road and take a deviation to the right, go through the manned railway cross and you can see the right end of the lake. Going bit ahead there is a gate. You can enter by foot (vehicles restricted with longer stones planted with gaps) and walk towards the other end, its a long walk !

Not sure of prestige, but there are too many villas, apartments and ongoing projects throughout this route !
