Double that. I also loved watching DuckTales & Tales Spin.
But for me No.1 will always be Tom & Jerry.

At animated series, Tom & Jerry rules big time. Me and my cousin brother ( who is 35, a surgeon and a father to 8 year old kid ) enjoy the re-runs as well as video tapes that we recorded long back; even now.

The roadrunner show and Popeye are another favorites.

@B&T - Asterix - absolutely superb. Have almost full collection.
Also, Garfield takes the cake in everyday comic strips. Just love the way he treats Odie

In animated series, its Tom & Jerry for me. It has become a habit for me to watch this along with my 6 yr old kid.

My favourite comic book includes Tintin, Astrix, Tinkle, amar chitra katha.

Cartoons in paper: It is Calvin, Beetle baily & Garfield.

Nice thread!! Iv just downloaded about 45 episodes of Looney Tunes!

Just visit Isohunt and search "Looney Tunes Golden Collection Schizo"

My folks used to buy one Asterix adventure every month till they had the whole collection. Its easy to discover a new twist every time you read them. Sadly a lot of them were 'borrowed' never to find their way back. The play of words will never cease to amaze me.

Print :

Asterix & Obelix, Tintin, Calvin & Hobbes, Yogi Bear, Mad Magazine, Sad Sack, Phantom, Garfield, Dagwood.... and a bunch of others I cant remember

Animation :

Tom & Jerry, Top Cat, All Loony Tunes, Droopy, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, The Flintstones, Pink Panther, Popeye again so many more but the classics not the newer stuff.

I'm assuming this thread was started to discuss cartoons, but it quickly took on animated cartoon shows as well. Anyway, I thought I'd put thinks in motion again by paying homage to an old favourite -- Gary Larson. Not everybody likes his style, or understands his (usually weird) brand of humour. But I think he rocks. Here's a sample:

Garfield and tintin all the way. I mean, who can't love a lasagna loving cat and Captain Haddock!

From animation, tom & jerry are my favourites!

Where are the smiles gone?

Hey BHPians
Looks like all are after miles and not smiles and that is the reason this thread has fallen into disrepair
How about a sustained renovation ASAP
My personal modern day favourite is Randy Glasbergen
check him out at TODAYS CARTOON by Randy Glasbergen
How about we have lots more cartoons here to give us miles and miles of smiles (not just smileys)

Garfield, TinTin, Asterix, He-man and the masters of the universe, Ducktales, Bugs Bunny, Looney Tunes - Daffy duck from childhood.

Its the Simpsons and all of [adult swim] these days with a lot of non veg jokes and hillarious brutality associated to it.

Need we have so many excuses not to smile
Let us just smile after all it increases our face value

What about our better halves
Maybe they will feel they need a perfume that smells like a ANHC? or an E series??
comments anyone
New thread "He spends more time with team-bhp than me"???
