What you want to know the way you keep them in packing or just the bottles without the outer carton, I keep them loose in my dressing cupboard. |
Initially when i started out i never really cared but as it all grew i started thinking about it as to how to increase life of these things .Apart from the daily wear like CK eternity etc i like to keep mines in original boxes .What i want to know is especially in northern part / hotter part of country is storage .For Eg I generally keep them in the refrigerator at about 5 degrees , In winters i shift them out i the depth of a drawer .
I do this as i have read these things need to be stacked away from all light , and high temperatures .
What do you all do ?
My first issue with a Baccarose who are one of the major retailers in India for may perfumes . I bought a Azzaro twin today for 3050INR from Terminal 1D of airport at Delhi in morning. I reach Lucknow open my bag .Open the packaging surprise the bottle is crushed in more than 50 pieces .
I call up their Mumbai office some senior person called Mr Ronaldo says it is my fault .
I say but there is nothing no smell etc apart from a light note .None of my stuff has marks etc and i definitely did not go to war .
Moral of the story .
I will never deal with Baccarose , its outlets , Parcos ever .
And
Never trust i am not getting ripped off .
So always opens the packaging and visually check .
Rgds

Givenchy - Xeryus Rouge (occasional use)

weekends mont blanc individuel, and race-day weekend is lamborghini feroce(this is from superstition.was wearing a lambo perfume, dont recall which, during the final race for 2008 :) ).

If the bottle is broken before , you would have found traces on the outer package and heard rattling of broken glass pieces. if no then it would have broken in transit, esp if they it was shipped as checked in luggage.
Hi All,
Davidoff Cool water seems to be all time favorite. Mine too. I use 1) Davidoff Cool water, 2) Davidoff Hot and 3) Diesel.

Yeah mate, that's the one. Well if you like fragrances with spicy note then I hope you'd like it. If you like more of strong fruity or flowery fragrances then you may not like it (be mindful this "like" is very subjective term when it comes to taste).
Its very hard to explain a fragrance in words but still i'll try, the characteristics of JPG are: top notes are composed of mint, lavender and bergamot. The heart is composed of
cinnamon,
cumin, and orange blossom. The base contains vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood and
cedarwood. The reason I liked this one is in bolds. I have a suggestion for you, NEVER-EVER (I repeat NEVER EVER) purchase a fragrance upon suggestion (unless the person suggesting knows your taste
VERY well) Hope this helps :)
Also sorry mate, I have no experience with
www.perfume2order.com, also I never purchase any fragrance online. I've purchased all these fragrances from overseas (shops or airport duty frees)
^^
I have been thinking about it for a while, will go and try it in Lifestyle.
Other colognes in my small collection are A*Men, CK Obsession, Drakkar Noir, Acqua Di Gio. I am going to give it a try :-)

I am absolutely sure it did not break in my bag as there is no sign of crumpling on the outer thin cardboard carton .Also the bag had only clothes in it and it was tucked as i have been doing for so many years .Also it was not check in .It was carry In .I have forwarded a complaint to GMR even though i dont in my dreams think of a happy solution still :-)
@Lateesh
Perfume2order is a good website .
Another for people who are in south is perfumeworld , chennai based party.
Though i have only used them with hand deliveries while i am in chennai.
Across the range they are generally cheaper than perfume2world .
Plus they give you a big deo and other gifts free.
The deo is more like a cockroach spray though.
Regards
Folks please mention the list of Colognes which have excellent sillage and projection as well as are long lasting according to your personal experiences. Some of my favorites are:
1. Joop Homme
2. Azzaro Chrome Legend
3. Yves Saint Lauren Kouros
4. Versache The Dreamer
5. CK Obsession
6. Aramis for Men
I have used till date the following:
S. Oliver
Strellson
Espirit
Lacoste
Every time when I bought one of those, I used to get a Joop Homme trial as a gift. But never bought one for real. Among all those above, Strellson was more elegant.
Latest addition to the collection.
I prefer the following in the order they appear below:
Kourus - YSL
Coolwater - Davidoff
Jazz - YSL
Pacco Rebbane Pour Homme ( green bottle)
Last month I was looking for a VFM perfume, I brought the bogart silver scent. I am currently using this, my earlier ones were Prada Amber Pour Homme & Hugo boss
