Aqua Di Parma

I'm planning to get Aqua Di Parma Colonia

How long does the prefume smell last ?
I'm interested in the CITURS note of this perfume.
Quite expensive indeed (retails at $118)

How long any EDT/ Aftershave/ EDP lasts is entirely dependent on your body chemistry and usage conditions.

For example if you perspire a lot and if you ride about a lot on a bike outside in the course of your day then no perfume/EDT etc will last beyond a point.

Typically Aftershaves have the least concentration by volume of the fragrance essence, followed by EDT's and then by EDP's in that order. With this in mind, I prefer buying EDT rather than the typically weaker Aftershaves or the extremely strong EDP's. EDT is a good mid point - but as mentioned can be quite expensive in comparison to an Aftershave.

I dont use Aftershave generally - I only dab a bit of EDT at the pressure points like behind the ears and possibly on the wrists and stuff.

My experience of Aqua Di Parma is good - it lasts the whole evening if one is out at a party. It lasts the whole day at work too if I use it during the day.

My days are spent largely in offices and/ or commuting in some sort of closed vehicle with AC on - such as my own car OR a taxicab in case I am travelling outside.

Been reading this thread a few times in the few years I have been a member, finally I post my collection :D

Those I have bought/used :
1. Benetton Colors : my first perfume I bought, cheap but my favorite !
2. Carolina Herrera 212 : liked it when I bought it, not so much now
3. Thierry Mugler Astar men : loved it , kind of rubbery, reminds me of school days
4. Biotherm : quite nice
5. YSL La Nuit De Le Homme : another of my favorites
6. Yujin Steel : not a brand I knew, gifted to me, it's fresh and pleasant and I like it
7. Kenzo Power : liked it a lot initially, but now it like it less, a little sweetish fragrance
8. Davidoff Hot Water : love it ! gifted to my dad
9. Porsche Design - The Essence : nice cool fragrance, gifted to dad
10. Kenzo Jungle : recently acquired, love the spicy fragrance
11. FCUK Him : kind of ok, it was gifted to me, won't buy again
12. Nautica White Sail : another of the cheaper ones, but it is quite nice

From this list, it seems I like spicy scents , though I can't say I have tried a lot of variety for long, only testers while shopping. Would like to try Burberrys, Hugo Boss and RL Polo series once the current stock exhausts, which will be quite a while !

Looks like you are a Davidoff fan. Apart from their cool water i don't have any exposure to the other colognes from this house. How's the sillage and projection of the Davidoffs you own? Do they last long enough in the Indian weather?

Also brief comments on their fragrance would be of great help.

Oh yeah certainly a Davidoff fan coz of the subtle , moderate Colognes.
I love more of Citrus based colognes.

Davidoff - ECHO - Citrus , fruity, Spicy flavour, with a hint of pepper & woody smell. Stays for almost 6-8 hrs on a moderate day. I mostly use it on Daytime or evenings.

Davidoff - GAME - Also Citrus & Fruity based. More of Grape fruit & watermelon based. I like it, but doesn't stay long. Stays around 4-5 hrs.

Davidoff - Summer Fizz - Citrus, Orange & woody etc. Stays for 6-8 hrs +
It's hard to find it now. I mostly use it during Day. Of the lot, this stays long on my body.

Hi BHPians,

Need feedback on Issey Miyake Perfume - Sport (blue color bottle).
Sprayed it ~ 7:15pm today, returned home, washed my hands and still can smell the perfume, will it last for 5 - 6 hrs in our kind of weather ?

Punekars - Was looking for Egoiste, @Lifestyle I`m informed that Chanel is not available in Pune (frankly I was a bit surprised to hear this), is it true? Can you please share, from where you bought Chanel in Pune.

Thanks in advance.

Glad to get hold of a davidoff fan. I need to buy a davidoff coolwater but it is not available in nearby stores. I tried ebay and it sells for about 1200 on ebay wheras perfume2order has it at a price of 2300 for the same 125ml EDT. The difference is that ebay product is being advertised as a 'tester bottle' and thus doesnt come with the packing.

Why is there such a big difference in pricing? Could the ebay ones be fake? What would be a fair price for davidoff coolwater 125ml EDT?

After the recommendation here, i have ordered a 4.2 ounce bottle of 'Davidoff - Summer Fizz' for $34 from Amazon.

Usually i stick to the tried and tested CK or Davidoff but this time i tried this one from Hollister:

Hollister Co. - Shop Official Site - Dudes - Cologne - View All - Break Line

Pretty good perfume and has a nice lingering lasting cool fragrance

But it from a reputed store, here in BLR Davidoff is available in Bangalore central, Shoppers stop, Lifestyle,Reliance trends etc.
But the prices quoted in a retail store is more or MRP when compared with online store.

Perfume2order sells genuine perfumes (Based on the buyers here, But I have never brought from P2O).
Would rather buy a perfume from reputed online store than some e-bay stuffs.
Yes - Tester bottle usually doesn't come with Original Packing, it's just the bottle.
2300Rs for 125ML seems justified. I'm sure P2O has refund policy if you are not happy with the product

Oh reliance trends stocks it? They have recently opened a store nearby, so heres a reason to visit it. Will compare the prices with Perfume2order and decide accordingly.
