I thought it was hillarious! Robert Downey, Jr. went all out - he was a treat to watch. Rest of the cast fit in well with the script.
Tom Cruise was interesting as the eccentric hip-hop loving studio boss.

He (Robert Downey) has made a great comeback with Iron Man and Tropic Thunder - a good reboot for his career leaving his wild days behind.

The Longest Yard

Adam Sandler stars as a fallen-from-grace footballer who is accussed of throwing a game, but not proved guilty. He is jailed for a drunken driving offence and is sent to a high security prison, where his inmates are proven thugs. The head jailor has dreams of having a football match between the guards and the inmates, and appoints Adam to be the coach, which he initially refuses. That sets the flow to the story.

Adam Sandler breezes through the role in his usual casual manner. The supporting cast also deserves a mention of praise.

A decent watch, which is entertaining.

Watch it if you have nothing better to do.

I kinda liked the movie - the storyline was good and most scenes funny and till the very end I didn't realize there was tom cruise in it i'd give it 3/5

I too enjoyed Tropic Thunder immensely. Call me twisted, but the scene in which the director's head blows off, and Ben Stiller thinks that its fake was hilarious.

Wow, dont mind me. I think i will call you twisted.

I think your refering to the scene where Stiller licks his ripped off head and tells his crew its ketchup or new technology based sauce to make it look like real blood.

Tom Cruise and Robert Downey Jr. were so well camouflaged with the make up.
