The secret life of Walter Mitty

I can't provide a rating. But If you are like me who likes movies that have multiple layers, character oriented and trigger thoughts, then you'd surely like it.
I enjoyed my Sunday today. I could connect the events of an employee working in 'Life' magazine to the broad story of every man's life itself.

And the music was very very nice. Especially the theme song.

How To Train Your Dragon 2: 8/10

Good one time watch. Though there was a bit too much talk, and a little less action.
Kids should like it. Worthy successor to the previous film. Animation is stunning!

No post credits scenes, in case someone wants to know ;)

How to train your dragon 2.

Continues from where the first movie left. The movie further explores the relationship of hiccup with his father and toothless. Great animation, predictable storyline in the second half. If I am forced to pick a better one out of the two iterations, first part would get my vote.

That said How to train your dragon 2 is a pretty good movie in itself.

I watched a movie a couple of days ago, called 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'. It was damn good. I would give it a 4/5. It was refreshingly different.

A couple of my friends raved about this movie a lot. I found it okay, nothing spectacular. It took me three sittings to get through it. It got boring in parts.

The physician:
Interesting movie, start in middle ages England about a boy who develops a fascination with the human body and disease.
After learning what he can, he is directed towards egypt to a madrasa run by IbnSina(Ben Kingsley).
Very nice visuals, and very interesting take on what plagued the peoples of the time.

5/5

The last legion

Romans, 420 AD, fighting for the empire, saving the cild caeser....Blah, blah, blah....

Get it and watch it for Aishwarya Rai!!
BeaYOUtifull!!

5/5

Saw "How to train your dragon-2" today. We rarely come across a well written and superbly made animated movie sequel. If I have to pick the best sequel ever made, My vote will go to this movie.
Toothless is as sweet as ever

Movie: Chef

Review: This movie has some pretty big stars but was not marketed a lot in India. The big stars in this movie - Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson, all have very small roles. The movie is about a chef who works in a restaurant and how he uses his talent (or rather is forced by his circumstances) to open his own business. The star of the movie is the chef himself - Jon Favreau, who is in fact the director and writer of this movie too. The pace of the movie is slow and some people might get bored of it. The movie also shows how a father-son relationship develops as the Chef decides to involve his son in setting up his business. The comedy is mature and the acting is satisfactory – the movie also showcases how important social media (FB, Twitter etc.) has become in our lives. This movie has made me interested in knowing a lot more about cooking – we all want to have good food but no one actually appreciates the effort in making good food.

VerdictI would definitely recommend watching it once. I am not sure but as per the online user comments, it is better to avoid Humshakals and this movie would not disappoint you. It is a good way to pass 2 hours of your day.

Someone please PM me and tell me what's there in post credit scenes. I usually stay little longer but, left after about 2 minutes.

Edit: Sorry, was getting excited hence did not wait to actually google and find it out myself. So now I've seen the post credits and I can only say one thing.... It's going to be Legen.... wait for it...... Dary

As far as what I believe is the Apocalypse was one such character in the comic book series which tested the strength of every x-men to zilch. It would be great to see how he's now projected in the upcoming movie.

Watch the 4th season of x-men evolution.
I beleive that may be the characterization theyll take up, since the 4 horsemen were also there in the post credits scene.
Going to be brilliant!

Transformers: Age of Extinction, any reviews?
Should I go watch it or give it a skip? The entire series has gone gone from bad to worse with each installment. How does this fare?

The last one that I saw was X-men: Days of the future past. The movie was good but the action this time was comparatively lesser than the other X-men movies. The story however was awesome.

Woah this is awesome! Movie stars revisiting their famous roles:

Apologies for the OT post but couldn't help sharing this here.

Transformers: The age of extinction.

Caught it at IMAX Wadala. Stay away if you are not a fan of the franchisee. Even if you are one, its better to stay off because this is one which could even drive away the fans. Too long, we were literally begging for the movie to end. There is lot of explosions and blowing ups, stuff that you would expect from the movie, but sadly no substance. The movie is all show with no soul and even the IMAX experience (which is quite brilliant by the way and 3D is great too) doesn't lift it up. There is apparantly an extinction threat looming but you never feel the tension. Acting too is uninspiring for most part. Thumbs down from me.

Transformers : Age of Extinction - 7/10

That's about as generous as I can be when it comes to grading this movie. It is literally too long. 165 minutes of poor story, bad acting and too much special effects. The mind becomes numb looking at explosion after explosion.

Not to be a spoil sport, but truth be told - there was hardly any threat of extinction in the whole movie. Avoid if you are really not into the series or have little time to kill. You won't be missing much. Just scene after scene of metal crashing into more metal. And you've probably seen that happen many times since the first movie.

A Million Ways to Die in the West :
Seth MacFarlane and Charlize Theron star in this comedy. Keeps you entertained and Ms.Theron is so pretty, you dont find a dull moment. Worth a watch at home.
Rating : 3.5/5 .

Grudge Match :
Sylvester Stallone and Robert DeNiro are two ageing ex-boxers, who had fierce rivalry in their youth. In their prime, both had defeated each other once, but a third "Grudge Match" never came, because Stallone gives up boxing at the peak of his career for mysterious reasons. Good fun, tends to drag but worth a watch nevertheless.
Verdict : 3/5.
