For servicing, try one of the following:
1. Ethos Watches in Pavilion mall or Phoenix mall.
2. Just in time on JM Road, MG Road or Aundh
3. CT Pundole on MG Road or JM Road |
Thanks for the feedback; will look up these places and go to the nearest one (am in Bavdhan but new here and don’t know any of these places).

I guess Pavilion mall would be nearest if you go via Pashan, University chowk and Senapati Bapat road. But whichever you choose, do call before going as some of them might be a sales only outlet, without servicing facilities.

Didn’t realize that; makes sense. Thanks for the input.

Joining the G-Shock bandwagon finally. Wife found the GA-2110 in stock luckily and I got a nice surprise. Attachment 2049002 |
Had been out looking for this and made another impulse buy instead. The GA 2100 was out of stock and was checking the rest of the range when I saw the GA 1100 Gravity master and fell in love with the dial layout and clean design. Coupled with discount and vouchers got it at a bit higher than the GA 2100.

My new "crush" is the Casio G Shock series, especially the Master of G collection. It's a massive (pun intended) contrast with the relatively staid formal and sports watches I used to wear earlier. But heck one needs a bit of new colour and form in ones life. :)

Beautiful collection! clap:
What watch is the one in the last image, the one with the Yellow-black strap and yellow hands?

Thanks bro. :) But it's a very humble collection. There are far more fantastic desirable watches on this thread. And I am glad to see TBHPians update the thread with their new purchases.

Does HMT still make watches? I thought they shut down a few years ago. I picked up 2 watches from their website when I heard they had stopped making watches.

Not at all, they are very much back to producing watches (there was an interim period when I believe they had stopped production for a short while). Just that their supply is low as compared to demand. One has to be constantly on the watch and swoop in when the models become available. I have personally purchased two watches from them this year itself.

So the watch subsidiary of HMT shut down. The main company itself now uses some of the machines and employees of its erstwhile subsidiary to produce some of the models.
Hey guys,
Looking to gift my parents Seiko 5 watches. Is there any trusted online store from where I could pick a pair?
I checked Amazon however the mixed reviews and limited options for Seiko 5 are a bit unnerving.

You could directly buy from the official Seiko India online store -

I picked up a Seiko 5 a while back from Amazon, the seller was TheWatchAgency. I would recommend this particular seller as there were no issues with the watch and I also got the stamped warranty.
How are Stuhrling watches? Their international website shows to have quite some discounts.

Here’s the favorite in my collection with a few straps I use. One of the most versatile dials I have. Not to mention the envious position of being the first watch on the moon; an achievement Omega doesn’t hesitate to shout out at every opportunity they get! Bought in 2017.
The classic Hesalite glass reflection:
Bought this Seiko SSC 487 P1 last year in december . A solar Seiko prospex, this one has the world time function and has a sapphire crystal. Nice chunky watch and the Prospex line is definitely quite well built.
