I noted that when you add a new gallery and no cmments have been entered and no pics have been uploaded, the last upload date is shown as 1st Jan 1970. Just wanted the mods to know. :)

hope this is the place to post such an observation.

Wow, thanks for reporting that. I will look into it.

Butttttttttttttttt garages with no photos are deleted every second saturday (with the other board maintainence functions).

i think the article section is really good nd was wondering if someone could write an article on engine upgrades. like basic mods nd stuff..

No wonder, I had created a new garage for my older car and by the I had the pics in hand to upload, the gallery was gone.

Lesson learned, create a new garage only when you have atleast one picture to upload. :)

being out of the country for 3 months & visiting the forum just a couple of times - some observations
- team bhp meets dominate the discussion - parties & reports
- off topic discussions - mobile phone, TVs,travelogues, chennai bars et al pop up quite often

just being pessimistic -isnt this supposed to be a serious automobile discussion forum ??? or is the site metamorphing into a organised youth blog where we also talk cars...

Yes, we are aware that there are a good number of off-topic discussions but it would be a little extreme to say that we "also" talk cars. You really cant argue with statistics and the "Shifting Gears" section accounts for about 15% of the total postings.

Do realise that this is a community for automobiles. And that is the core. However and naturally, the discussion will extend beyond cars. And that is a good thing.

Mods I am unable to find the Colour scheme tab...It usually used to be at the bottom left corner..But now I cant find it...
I think I need to get my eyes checked..Till then help me locate it..
As I dont like the current blue and white scheme..

i've noticed that the who's online section used to list names in alphabetical order with mine in the begenning, now it just lists in random. is there a setting in user cp that i need to change?

heelntoe, the sequence of names is in order of login. Been mentioned before, IIRC.

sorry, didnt hear anything about it before.
i know that it was alphabetic for a while, but this must have happened when the members list was removed.
