Quite honestly, the moderators and regular members know who has been around for how long and what their quality of posts is, without having to look at whether the person is a Newbie/BHPian/Senior-BHPian etc. So dont worry. Its just a title.

Okay, serious suggestion this time - relating to private messages.

Quite often we store messages containing important information in our mailbox (the ones we dont delete, i.e.) and obviously there is a reson for wanting to store them.

Unfortunately one has to do a purge when one runs out of mailbox space, during which process I lose quite a few telephone numbers, part numbers, advice and generally good messages.

Can you give us the facility to export messages into a PDF, or maybe word format or at least into a txt file? That way mailboxes can be kept clear without losing good messages.

This facility already exists.

Scroll down to the bottom of you Inbox. In the right corner, you will see an option asking you to "Download all Private Messages as : XML | CSV | Text".

I have seen TBHPians doing so many get together, Meets and other stuffs for Fun & knowledge sharing between them.

To make it big, TBHPians should take up some social responsiblity when they meet....like going to places like Ashrams(Orphanage), Old age homes.
I am sure working for a social cause will really differentiate this forum with other forums of such kind and will definitly attract attention from media and other agencies.

This can prove to be a good marketing stunt for Team BHP.

What say???

It seems that the thread starting date (in addition to the thread starter's name)
would be a useful piece of information in some respects. Could it be easily done?

Here's one.. in the POLL's, don't let people VIEW the poll before they vote.. that way your making sure that the person's vote is not based on the number of people that have already voted.
