What a semi-final between Rafa and Fernando Verdasco... More than 5 Hours of blistering Tennis and like Alan concluded, it was a pity that there had to be a loser!
Lookin forward for a more intriguing Rafa versus FedEx final on Sunday..

yes, Rafa & Vardasco match was awesome, top quality tennis, one of the Best matches I have seen.

I was supporting the underdog (Vardasco), but Rafa was too good to beat.

Yes one of the closest. The reaction from Nadal said it all.

Australian Open Mens final....

What a match going on .... Despite of many unforced errors By Federrer still a classic match to watch .. Think Rafa will pull it off .. With no offense meant to Federrer's skills ... The score now 2-2 3rd set ... and it seems the game is going for ever ...

Great Final. The semi-final of Rafa versus Verdasco was still better though.
But, amazing scenes in the presentation ceremony, Feddy bursts into tears, Rafa apologizes for taking this victory and calls Feddy as a true champion... Wow! to Rafa for sportsmanship spirit!

What a final & what sportsmanship! I loved watching Rafa win again! And how he reacted to Federer's breakdown, true gentlemanly stuff.

But I have to agree, the semi-final was much more exciting. At 4-1 in the 5th set, Federer had as good as given up 7 you could see it in his play & body language.

Great tennis day.
I watched half of the mixed doubles match and found Bhupathi and Sania doing a great job - lots of great points and winners
The Nadal-federer final was amazing. I didn't se the semi-final, so this match seemed the best in the tournament for me!!
Nice scenes at the presentation too.

The match was brilliant. Especially the third set! Ultimately the better player of the day won it.
It was hurting to see Federer struggle for words and eventually breakdown but Nadal's sportsmanship was truly comforting.

Every good thing has to end one day. After ruling the tennis world for many years finally cracks are visible in Federrer's game. He was awesome today but felt a bit short. Loved the context till the 4th set. Rafa had to earn every point. Too many unforced error from Federrer did cost him the match. I felt he was tiring in the 5th set. You might have lost this game, but there is very little left to prove FedEx. You are a true champ.

Somehow I felt the breakdown at the presentation ceremony had more to do with Fedex losing his date with history. The presence of the past champions including Rod Laver, his 14th (would be) grand slam, equaling the record. I guess a combination of all that and the fact that Rafa now is well and truly his nemesis on all surfaces got to him in the end. Roger lost it in his mind much before on the court.

I still miss classical serve'N'volley game which Rafter, Sampras, Becker used to bewilder crowds with.

Anyone remember that epic Sampras-Agassi match at US Open that went to 4 tie breaks.

Anyone watching French Open?

Rafa has lost his first match in Roland Garros, at last. Yes after winning the title for the last four years, he lost the match in four sets.

Good news for fedex fans...

I am disappointed that Rafa has lost.

Guys, any idea which website covers the French Open the best ? I hardly have time to watch it live but would want to catch up on the action as well as the gossip online

Now if victory comes FedEx's way in this French Open it would not taste sweet.

Fed Ex doesn't look too sure at this years French Open. I watched his last match and he was nervous. Sad (and happy in a way) that Rafa is out but it was too early for him to go.

And whats with the women side ? Hardly anyone wins regularly. Every Grand Slam has a new winner !
