They diagnosed it as Papular Urticaria and told me that it will take 8 to 10 months to get fine.

Since then I have been on and off allopathy and with hardly any relief. The rashes still appear on different parts of the body and itch like hell late evenings and nights. Basically allopathy hasn't been able to cure this.

Can anyone recommend anything else please in Ayurveda? I went to a homeopathy doctor who told me that its too slow and only allopathy can cure me.
Any help / advice will be really appreciated.

There is an ayurvedic hospital you can visit, if you are in Delhi. "Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan" in Najafgarh. Works well for skin problems. I think the medicine they give, does a complete flush of fluids of your body. Since this is a government hospital usually it takes so much time for the whole thing so you have to plan accordingly.

If this doesn't workout book an appointment in AIIMS in fact I would recommend visiting the specialist there first as you will find some of the best doctors there. You can even book a teleconsultation appointment here: http://www.ors.gov.in/

Hope this helps.

Re: Alternative Medicine / Treatment Options

Thank you so much. I had been visiting aiims for my mother but had to stop as we couldn't manage appointments. However i will try as they indeed have the best doctors. If this doesn't work out will try the hospital you mentioned. Thanks again for taking the trouble for recommending.

Any feedback on ayurvedic treatments for arthritis and spondylitis?

If so, will it be a good idea to visit the famed ayurveda resorts in Kerala for treatment and rejuvenation?

Thanks!

Should add (can't edit the post now) the treatment would be for my elderly parents.

She has identified that she is allergic to lactose, eggs, paneer, mushroom, as of now, and has stopped it. This is affecting her diet.
We would like to see a doctor in Chennai who could treat the underlying symptoms rather than prescribe creams and lotions.
Can someone please suggest?
Thanks.
So I had small skin thingies for years as a kid & teenager and no skin doc or their medicines fixed it from root.

My first unexpected tryst with an Ayurvedic doc who checked my Nadi/ Pulse pointed out small tiny skin/ hair issues etc I had. Boom!

i was wondering how thats possible.

I was told to reduce Spicy & Oily food intake. Within a few months it was gone after having been there for years.

In summary:

Skin/ Hair issues stem largely from inner health & blood issues.

Each persons unique Bodies inability to handle or process something creates issues; be it skin or hair or even allergies/ intolerances we are seeing off late.

Mushroom is regarded as misbalancing all 3 doshas in the body. Hence, Indians traditionally never ate mushrooms.

Once a vaid checks her pulse they can point out how to rebalance - some herbs/ spices/ at times simple diet changes.

In general, Lactose is becoming an issue off late due to Weakened Digestive systems / Gut Micro biomes..

All due to messed around with Food Chain i.e. Foreign Hybrid Cows, Factory Farming and GMOs et.

I only touch A2 milk now. And even that can be "Guru" for a weak / imbalanced digestive system.

I cant comment on Eggs, but similar fundamentals would apply and a vaid can tell you upon personal diagnosis.
