i've got some nice B&W and colour pictures from J&K (Srinagar, Baramulla) from the early 70's and Sikkim (Gangtok, Nathula pass) from the mid 80's, but these were not taken by me - my dad took them. so can't post them :(

Taken in June 2010
The lake was half frozen. IF we had gone 20 days earlier we would have found probably a 100% frozen lake!
