I visited this site and stumbled upon another news which is very disturbing.
A 14 year old house maid was not allowed to wear cloths inside the house, and was being tortured by both husband and wife. It is reported that the husband is working for Infosys.

Any Infosys-ians around here can confirm that this 'man' (I am using this term as I still don't know the truth behind) was in fact working for Infosys? Any talk about this in the company?

It is difficult to understand what kind of sadistic pleasure these guys derive out of such cruel deeds.

I am disturbed by the visuals. I sincerly wish those techie couple rot in hell. This is no way to treat a human, especially a child.

It was big news in the TOI yesterday and it seems that the couple is on bail since the Medical center is dillydallying on issuing a statement of the extent of injuries and trauma of that patient.

Heart wrenching & disturbing visuals. These highly educated and high earning couple seem to be suffering from some complex and must have had a real bad childhood.

Apart from being prosecuted, they should be seen by a shrinnk and incarcerated in an asylum for the rest of their lives..

The girl is supposed to be no more than 10-12 yrs old. Police has reported that she is 15 yrs Looks like its been happening for a long time. They have tonsured the girl and this was the case even for the one who had worked earlier.

The story is very true. My colleague stays in the same apartment complex.

This is shocking. The most annoying thing is that the couple will be out on bail and the media or anyone will no longer be worried about this after a while and these perverted creatures will get away with it.

Normally it is considered that the educated and the rich are the most decent.
The poor and the uneducated the most indecent and misbehaved. I was once told that people need to be educated to have proper behavior.

All this and many more examples as you can see in Big Boss or else where clearly show that having good education or earning lot of money does not mean you are well behaved.

Me too thought and think the same way but there are exceptions on both sides. If the couple were so displeased with the services of the maid then why didn't they ask her to leave ?
This 'usually' happens when a sum is paid (as help in need or otherwise) to the parents of a child with the promise that the child will help the patrons with domestic activities.

But before that why is this girl sent with these people by her grand mother. So the education needs to start from there. I have heard Government is providing education for children below Poverty line. So just education cannot justify the reason for the grandmother to sent her granddaughter with some one to Bangalore. So all those people should be educated to avoid these situations.

And these couples who have done this evil should be punished and the whole story should be advertised to everyone by the media so that the other perverted s will have a fear to do such things again.

My case is the same. Our maid takes leaves at will. She has a mobile, she SMSs or calls and informs my wife about this on the very same day.
She even asked for 4 casual leaves in a month!

Me & wife classify as tortured due to her unplanned absence.

I am sure the couple is mentally disturbed and gets sadistic pleasures out of such inhumane practices. They should be imprisoned and if not then they can rot in hell !!
