Alone would be my option, but otherwise it would be girl friend, which was before I got married.

With wife I didn't like it because she used to moan all the time about my driving it being too quick. Her car seemed to have only two gears. One of them for reverse.

With my wife its the other way around. She's more of a racer. It's fun driving with her.

Only complaint is the music. I am a metal head & I like it loud. But she's dead opposite to that.

I prefer driving alone. I find that I committ more mistakes when my wife is with me as I have to change my driving style (become slower) and our taste in music does not match either.

I would like to drive alone cause, most people are not able to stand the loud music and thump of the sub woofer in my car.

and if someone starts to complain about it, I feel like throwing them out.

Some of my friends are okay with it and enjoy it, so driving with them is fun.

I love going for drives with my wife. She is awesome with directions and I suck at it so its a perfect driver - navigator team, and oh she drives pretty well too so thats a plus.

Alone with some great music is the best.
When you have some company may it be girlfriend or wife or friend or anybody they end up continuously yapping away to glory about something which you wouldn't want to hear about when you are having a great time driving.

Imagine this! You, your car and an empty road. its perfect!

I wouldn't ask for anything more.

If i want driving pleasure, i do it alone. Doing long distances, at a sedate 90-100kmph with good music on, is my fav way of travelling.
