i appreciate your action. As somebody suggested, take a break and relax. But somethig should be done about this.
one of the good things to do is, pass the information through word of mouth, mails and blogs. this way information is passed in multiples and the identities are secure. mail to all the publicly available mail ids like of pm, cm, courts, higher police officials, orgs like shiv sena, news papers etc.
sooner or later, the i....t will be taught his lesson and people drive past him showing middle fingure.

This happens every where, where ever i happen to see the fleet of these morons i make sure i dont over take..basically dont come in thier way!

@RKS, if you dont sympathise and condemn the incident and suggest a proper solution then please dont post silly theories as this doesnt addresses the problem.

@N_C, please lodge a formal complaint against this guy and report the whole incident to media.

There is no way that these s***heads are going to learn unless someone takes a stand and this is unbelievable that 10-12 security personnal beating up somebody.

Even if they had a problem, there are better ways to resolve and this incident clearly shows the sick mentality of this guy whosoever's son he is.

And you havnt dont anything wrong at all cos you havnt crossed the PM's convoy, its a pity that we are living in such a country where with power people get more irresposible.

Please report the matter to police and media ASAP.

This is tip of iceberg. Reality is much bad everywhere, sorry I cannot reveal the region. I have a relative that is in politics and the facts he give up are simple shocking, so much so that I was not able to eat properly for more than a week. Note that I am above 90 kg and mad behind food. Still I took one week to get back to my normal diet. Any citizen who is disciplined and responsible will get into depression if we go deeper into the acts of these goons ( includes police too ). I wondered how much low could our culture fall. If we go deeper, things are worse than African countries. Even Pakistan has one thing transperent : Its sort of anarchy there, but they we know this. In case of India, its not transparent. India can win any award for corruption, exploitation, etc.

If you are asking NC to lodge a former complaint, his life will be runied. I agree that as far as love stories in Hindi movies go, they are baseless ( one never gets the person who he/she loves, its my experience ), but as far the corruption saga goes, hindi movies are correct in describing the whole picture. Media will love the initial frenzy and attention, then they will never follow up a case. Our ministers are criminals and I think we all know this.

Its a hopeless situation, but you know what is the worst part of it ? Its the common man's attitude. I have seen most of Indians talking like " I have this connection ." etc. Now if the moral thinking of Indian citizens come up, these goon will have to run for cover. Till then the good suffers.

There is no point in reporting this to media. Nobody will come up to help you. Not even opposition of the goon with whom you had fight.

EDIT : The problem with Indian people is that they give Sympathy. What one needs in these cases is support and not sympathy.

Sad incident. I hate it when they come sirens blaring. I usually do not give way and drive away quickly. This is not my ego, the only reason being "madam" is going to take rest in her mansion here. Let her get a slow view of the region, if not the people.

Absolutely right cannot agree more. Forget about minister of Narayan Rane's stature , even a corporation ward councillor can make life miserable with goons & goons in uniform ( read police) .

N_C, I went through your thread yesterday only, through a link on another thread. As I progressed reading through your first post, and by the time I was finished, I literally had my blood boiling and I can imagine what you would have wanted to do to them at that time.

But anyway, keep rev'ving man until these guys meet some real goons who might settle them then & there only.

It is a old thread but group vandalism is a ongoing problem. I can recall similar incidence during ganesh festival in pune. Wont go in details, but ended up getting my indica kicked etc by group of "Youngsters" just because i wanted to use road (They were blocking way). Mostly these are drunk people. This was time when camera phones were not common

Well , nothing much can be done about these "would be goons".

Best option to get whole thing recorded on camera phone. Having car black box helps. Even voice recording helps and just give these details to media. All taken care of.

Being said that, in moment of panic, above method could be difficult.

Best strategy is save yourself first.
