Re: Strange sightings on the road

Sighted this today near EC toll Hosur rd an ace carrying an elephant literally. Hold on it was an elephant all right but a life size mock up/ model may be for a park etc. Another ace had a life size tiger.
Now thats what you call a haati on a chota haati!

just a curious thought : even if the monkey is not tied with the piece of rope, its still going to hold on to the pillion rider , fearing for its life :P

Which monkey among the lot are you talking about ? The first 3 seem to look retarded enough to actually risk such a stunt. The one in the back is just forced to do it by the other 3.

It's not uncommon to use the Gray Langur to scare away the Red faced monkey, This too must be used for the same purpose.

Re: Strange sightings on the road

On my recent road trip to Rameshwaram, we were feeling hungry and looking out for a place to have lunch and saw this at Ramanathapuram!

We seem to be on the verge of better ties with China soon.
Check out the Hindi - I'm already doubting my own knowledge after several years.

Re: Strange sightings on the road

Now that pic of the monkey on the bike actually gives a new meaning to the term 'tail lamp'!

But really sad to see an animal being transported this way by the other 2 animals who seem to have hitched a ride with the biker.
