Seen this AMG-kitted E Class today. Had E55 AMG badges at the rear too. The wheels and the exhaust were a dead give-away.

Wonder how the E55 would look with fatter body colored grille like the SL.

I've seen those exact alloys on a Merc E-Class here. Actually see it very often, never bothered to check if it was an AMG. And now i think it is, will get pix of it too

The alloys on the white E are standard alloys on the new E. The ones on the original E55 AMG are AMG alloys (obviously) . They are also available as extra's through Merc dealers.

That front grille with the huge *** Mercedes emblem just looks downright ugly!!!
I think the grille is not an original Mercedes accessory as the 'original' one has a smaller tri-star

in the future frenchcar magazine Autojournal tells that the next gen of E class will get al least 650 hp , that would be done with a turbocharged version of the new 63 AMG engine V8
