Re: Lamborghini Huracán to be showcased in India, March 2014

wow drool worthy pictures, she is indeed stunning? thanks for sharing.

Will the Huracan be competing with the 458? would they even be in the same price bracket? i reckon not, as the 458 is approximately 5 cr and the Huracan should be way below this figure.IMO

5 cr? Huh? Do you mean OTR Mumbai prices? If so , then why not compare ex-showroom to ex-showroom prices? That's the most sensible way , as OTR varies from place to place.

I estimated the 458 prices OTR Mumbai, however i agree with you that a more sensible way would be to compare the prices ex-showroom. Any estimates on the Huracan ex-showroom prices?

The price of both cars, the Ferrari as well as the Lamborghini varies massively depending on the city of registration as well as (and perhaps more importantly) all the options each owner customizes his/her car with.

The Huracan is Rs. 3.5cr (ex-showroom, Delhi) before options like contrast stitching, Alcantara interiors, different wheels and custom-fit luggage is added (as is on this display variant). I expect on-road price for a decently specced Huracan to be upward of 4.2 crore.

The 458 Italia on the other hand costs Rs. 3.2 crore for a base version with additional options taking a similarly specced car to around 4.0cr (guesswork here)

Re: Lamborghini Huracán to be showcased in India, March 2014

Ex showroom and not on the road is the right way to compare the 458 Italia and the Huracán. Also it still goes deeper than that considering that India specific standard options on the 458 and the Huracán are quite different. Ex showroom on the 458 is 3.5cr plus options and the Huracán is 3.43cr ex showroom plus options. However, there are certain additional options which come standard on the Lamborghini but are paid options on the Ferrari.

The SuperVeloce tag is reserved for Lambo's V12 models mate, so no SV for Huracan, it will have a Superleggera instead

Bangalore had its Lamborghini Huracan Private Preview this past weekend at JW Marriott.

I was in the neighbouring building and could hear the aural ecstasy of the Huracan being revved!

I just cant seem to find a liking for the rear end of the car. The front end and back end look good individually but together it just doesn't seem to fit.

Here's the official video:

Some international publications (mostly European) got to review the Huracan. Initial reviews look quite promising. Take a look at the video.

Bangalore already has a Lambo showroom. There are 3 Lamborghini showrooms in India currently, one each in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

The Bangalore showroom isn't "officially" open yet. The formal inaugration is yet to happen and will happen in following months.
That said, a few of these websites are rather half-informed.
