There is speculation in social media that the repeated change to statement by key witness may be a ploy to get the witness declared untrustworthy by the court. The case relies heavily on witness statements, so any prosecution witness declared untrustworthy helps the defendant.

The Thrissur Additional Sessions Court has found businessman Mohd. Nisham, accused of having murdered Chandrabose, the security guard at Shobha City, Thrissur on January 29, 2015, guilty on nine counts including murder.

This is the latest in this case: The son of the guard has written to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan accusing him of using money to buy himself a comfortable time in prison, and has also accused Nisham of trying to use his influence to have his jail term reduced.
