I have seen this truck's pictures earlier in some other site. Looks like that's been shipped from UK? What are these people doing in Cochin with this truck?

That is indeed the Camry 1991-2 that timeframe. Sold quite well in the US and even to this day, you see them running around. Of course, it has been growing every generation.

THe whole front end looks like it was smashed and repaired with local parts. Nothing is stock, grille, bumper and lights.
Lights are indeed Palio...good observation Zibby!

Mpower, thank you for the information! One of our partner had a Cressida in my childhood & the side profile exactly as the above one. And the small indicators on the top of the fender was also the same as in that Cressida!

Probably one of 'the' most popular cars amongst desi students in the US. 4 of my batchmates had the same model- all 1991 Camrys. Then came the 1990-1993 Corollas.
This one definitely has some work done on it.

That's an earlier generation Ford Fiesta. Should be a '95-'99 model.

You can see the ikonic genes in it. Again, the cost of bringing this over must have been more than buying a new Ikon unless it is a consulate cast off
