Last Saturday I attended one of my good friend's sister in law's marriage at Kadavu Resorts. Being both the family from a know background as well as leading business people, it was a pool of luxury & imports. I just snapped few of the imports which are interesting, skipped or missed so many S-classes, new E, BMW 730Ld, last gen 7, 5, Volvo S80 etc.

Audi A6 - My best pal Humayun's car, hence plate not covered.

Audi Q7 - Brown - the first FL Q7 to hit the state, white & black new additions to Calicut, black is pre-owned from daman

750Li - One of the first 750Lis in the state. He is a renowned personality!

730Ld - My friend's car who s-i-l's marriage. It was his Dad.

C-class- old gen C-class which is an import.

I thought, or so was i told that Emkey groups 750Li was Mineral white. I even saw pics his son taking the keys of the 7(standing besides a white 7) at the BMW showroom. It was shown to me in the Showroom PC itself along with the delivery pics of 650i to your friend. When did the color swap happen ?

Iam not able to reconize the color exactly, is it Black, Sophisto Grey or Imperial Blue ?

Black Q7 from Kelco stable ?

Emkey Group's 750Li is white, but this is some one else! More over Mr.Emkey Group don't have son, he have 3 daugthers. The person who took delivery of his most car is personal staff who handle his fleet.

It's not Kelco's Q7, but some other NRI who stays just out of Clt.

The info about the person being his son was given by a In - BMW personnel (not ex-GM)

Thanks for the info on Q7. I suspected because of the Arabics in the rear.

@ Hanmust : Nice collection there.
IMO the new 7, I really like which is contradicted by a lot many people. Lot many people are into the Bangled look but the Black 7 is surely a stonker there. Great Pics!

I think it is Sophisto grey only. Because i think of 3 750Li's sold by BMW Kochi there was only this one which is not a shade of white, others being Alpine White(Joy Alukkas) and Mineral White(Emkey Group).

Thank you, It' not black, but Sophisto Grey, which as Scorcher mentioned one of the first three 750Li in the state. Infact, this one was the first to be delivered. And S-Grey is one of my favorite colour in the new 7 & I've bought the same colour for me, sorry I ment my 750Li diecast!

Ya, Yeldo, its second FL A6, the first one being the demo car. It's infact the first A6 in Malabar region.

Emkey Group first booked the new 7 & it was their 7 first came. But due to delay in getting the PDA software it got delayed to deliver, where as the grey one was second, but came after doing the PDA from Chennai dealer hence they delivered it first. Later Platino took the Emkey's & Alukkas' 750Li to B'lore in their truck & get the PDA done from there & delivered later. So thats the story.

Couple photos clicked by my cousin from Calicut Cosmopolitan Club. VW Beetle & BMW X6, both are new addition to the city. I was told that a new white X6 too got added to Clt.

Bah ! Thanks for the info buddy. But there is a slight correction from my side, the first 7 to reach the dealership was not even emkey's but alukkas's(but sold last, it was kept as display car). I was there the day it came and the ex-GM(our friend) made arrangements for me to make an exclusive viewing inside the Service area. I have posted the pics earlier, he told that the Emkey 750Li will take another 4-5 days to arrive.

They must be businessmen who also handle respected designations in the Govt. Similarly Emkey Groups cars(750Li,S500,RRVogue, Bangled 7 etc) too carry Govt.of Kerala signs.

The X6 is a big pointless car, but it sure looks good!
A white one would surely be a show-stopper!
The beetle in that colour looks really nice. I have spotted a similar one in Bangalore.
