The last 10 years in our country have been very good for imports and exotics and especially cars customised to the owner's tastes. This has resulted in some extremely tasteful cars and some of the specs which would burn your eyes. This thread is for those ones which deserve to be recognised!

To start off, here are some of the recent ones-

• Rolls Royce Ghost Series II from Delhi

This one arrived quite recently in the country. The exterior colour on this is Salamanca Blue with the interiors in Baby Blue. Quite amazing I must say!

• Rolls Royce Ghost Series II(Special Commission) from Hyderabad

This was delivered at the start of this year. Rumoured to be more expensive than a Phantom, this one is a special commission by the particular customer and has many gold highlights through the interior finished in pure 24 Karat Gold. Now, gold is a tricky colour to spec with- use it too much and the car appears gaudy and use it too less, it becomes too subtle. The owner here though has nailed it!

• Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Spyder(Demo)

This was apparently the demo car of Lamborghini in India. This particular piece is also specced beautifully with the exterior in Blue Caelum and a tan interior. Those wheels with white details also enhance the look a lot and then there's the black soft-top to top it all off!

• Lamborghini Aventador from Hyderabad

This car is just an amazing spec overall! What with a Nero Nemesis exterior, those gorgeous wheels and the aftermarket spoiler! It is one of the best Lamborghini specs in all of India! Apparently, this car also participated in the Gumball 3000 rally too!

• Mercedes G63 AMG

Not much is known about this car but from the pictures, it looks to be brilliantly specced. While most of the people getting a G go for shades of either White or Black, this guy thought "Nah, they're too mainstream" and got a Lime Green exterior colour! That's a bold decision and while the black interiors aren't out of the box, they compliment the car rather well!

Looks like the G63 AMG in Crazy Colour limited edition spec with its alien green shade. Black interiors will have contrasting green stitching to match the exterior shade, along with an AMG performance steering wheel.

The other colour choices available were pretty loud as well - yellow and orange.

The black and gold Rolls-Royce Ghost is a very special car. The car was commissioned by the owner for his wife and was delivered to her on her birthday. The build took more than a year and the shade of gold is a special formulation. The owner didn't like any of the thousands of shades that RR had to offer so he had them make a bespoke shade. It is called Charminar Gold and has been archived at the factory. Apparently, no other Rolls-Royce apart from this particular gentleman's cars will wear that color.

The shade on the Huracan Spyder would be Le Mans Blu and not Blu Caelum. It was a shade that was made a paid option with the Huracan Spyder, quite an expensive one at that, but interestingly the very first Le Mans Blu Huracan made it's way to India back in the day when Lamborghini Mumbai had an Ad Personam special commission for a client of theirs. It was a LP610-4 Coupe that was painted in this shade and it eventually made it's way to the Ghodawat Garage in Kolhapur.

As for that G, it was Merc's press car for long. It is a Crazy Color Edition and the shade is called Alien Green, quite rightly so!

The first SVJ in India is probably the best specced one too. Belonging to the Bren Garage from Bangalore, its finished in Viola Alethenia with white SVJ decals and highlights, all carbon options and interior in Nero Cosmus.

Also from the same garage is this 488 Pista (Another first in the country). Though finished in resale red, the black and yellow stripes makes the car look stunning!

This red and yellow theme aslo runs on the owners Guards Red 911 GT2 RS which has highlights in Racing Yellow. Sweet!

Talking about well specced Supercars, how can we not include Gaddafi Malik's Aventador S

Some porkers who i've kept tabs on the automotive forums -

1. TechArt GT Street R based on Porsche 911 turbo S. Clearly the most insane specced porsche in india IMO. TechArt dropped in its famous powerkit in this one which bumps the power to 720hp and max torque to 920nm with an almost full carbon fibre body kit. It also comes with a reworked exhaust system, reworked chassis and light weight wheels.


2. Porsche 911 turbo S Exclusive Series. Finished in a special shade of Golden Yellow Metallic, the Exclusive Series gets a host of features like the power kit upping the horsepower by 27hp and carbon fibre bits all around, including the CF wheels!



3. Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS. This one was apparently imported as porsche never sold the 997 GTS in India, specced with centre lock HRE wheels, Ruf suspension kit, Tubi exhausts and a wing as well.

These cars seem to be quite famous among social media circles since I see atleast one pic of them everyday. Unfortunately, I don't really think that these are good specs and even find the Bentley and Ghost to be a bit garish

Wouldn't vouch for the Bentley but think the Ghost pulls it off rather nicely. Garish, yes! But too many boring cars on our roads...

Here's an exotic but classy Bentayga from Hyderabad finished in a shade of green called Barnato.

Nope, not a wrap job. This is factory paint.
There used to be a bright pink/fuchsia-ish CFS in Mumbai too, but I suspect that was a temporary wrap job as the car has vanished( or unwrapped )
