Not much cheaper, really. The V10 is above 80 lakhs, on road. Only the Cayenne Turbo is more expensive. The V6 and V8 are far cheaper.

There's at least 3 of them in B'lore... saw one hat was Blue - deep blue... ddidn't check its numberplate tho... went too quick in the opposite direction. The car looks fabulous!! V10. Had quite a bit of grunt in it... there's another silver one here too. I saw it near malleswaram. forgot to check the number plates...
I need to make this a habit, or I'll always forget to check the registration numbers... sigh...

The ads look good enough, and so does the car. But it's a little misleading. I'd pick one of the Land Rover family or the Landcruiser as the best, because there's no beating them when it comes to mud-plugging. My 95 paise worth...

I'm talking from a non technical viewpoint. For e.g. one page will show the new bettle with its nose in the air as it has a huge caravan hitched to the back of it. Turn the page and they show the Touareg with the tag line - "Does what other VW's can't".

well that one awesome suv..had been to inox yesterday to watch iqbal and there at the four wheelers entrance was this black beauty..from far i thought it was a cayenne but as i approached it realised it was a vw toureg..me and my bro just kept staring at it though like for about a minute having parked the 2 wheeler close to the footpath..decided to go have a look at the interiors but it was time for the show and as i had all the tickets had to rush into the complex where my friends were waiting as if they were going to take me down..they just dont seem to understand why we are so into cars(phew what fools they are!!)

Ive seen two touregs in delhi both deep blue in the last one week itself, and i agree with beemer, the spare wheel cover at the back is simply fabulous... one heckof a creative team of designers theyve got!

VW Touareg spotted in bangalore

Note from Mod - have split this thread into two - please confine discussion to Touregs and use the follwoing thread for Bangy Bentelys: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super-...bangalore.html

It was quite a crowd puller. A bentley was parked in front of Kapoor lamp shades shop on Richmond Road and a brand new (yet to be registered) white VW touareg parked behind it on Saturday. Could not pull over in the crowded road, but these beauties had quite a few folks admiring them..

I happened to have a ball of SUV's a few months back .. On my way back home from v1p3r's house at some 2 in the morning .. At marathalli i see a huge convoy of cars coming behind me .. It looks massive, so i let them pass .. In line are a ford endeavor , cayenne turbo , VW touareg , x-trail and lastly an X5 .. I was speechless to see all these beauties at one go .. Just easing out on the pedal to recover from what i had just seen .. And wham 2 kms down the line i see another convoy of cars , this time again its the same set of cars with different order however .. There is no place over there where they could have stopped , or gone around to make a U-turn/right turn and get back behind me .. Thats when it struck me that this was a 2nd convoy of cars ..

My reaction was that of confusion more than excitement wondering who could own such a collection .. The next thing i did was stopped by the side of the road, SMS v1p3r and ask him if there was any party at palm meadows from where i thought these cars must have come .. Evidently there seemed to be none .. And till date im guessing whose cars these could have been .. All in all it was a treat to my eyes .. Long live the owner .. All he needs now is a RangeRover ..
