There were a lot of talk about the Carrera GT been spotted in town. The Porsche showroom was being built at Peddar Road and even the Performance Show was coming close. Some suggested that the car was brought down for display purposes. I was heading towards Worli, so I thought I'll just take a ride towards Peddar Road and check if its really a Carrera GT. Got down of the flyover and glanced at the showroom and I was stumped. Some guys were actually pushing a red supercar inside. I instantly recognized it. It was indeed the Porsche Carrera GT.

With too much enthusiasm, I parked the bike quickly at the showroom where some were clicking snaps and other just glanced at the car. The best part was just beside the Porsche showroom is a Maruti Suzuki showroom. And all of the sales people in there were looking at the car in amazement. That was a sight to see.

The Porsche guys closed the glass after the car was in. And I had a hard time clicking through the windows. Anyways, I managed some nice pics.

More Pictures: Check them out here.

Great pictures Gordon.
i saw the car myself today and took hurried pictures from the car. i also spoke to the people at porsche and they said it is here for the performance show and for the opening of the showroom. i am trying to talk to the owner of the dealership for a detailed photo session with the car. hope he agrees.
sorry for the bad quality.

Or maybe parked in bombay forever if some big shot down the street decides to buy it!

I drove past the showroom last night, the car looks so much better in flesh.

You can always carry on with your study leave in Mumbai

If its coming for the Performance Show some of us might be able to get up close and personal with the CGT.

Man, that beast is a work of art. And it looks so much larger in India than in foreign locations.
