I spotted 3 imports today alone.

The best and very rare specimen was the BENTLY.Wow its just mind blowing.Still i cant believe that i saw one

The Bentley in one of the preceding pages looks a little whack'd. Maybe the wheels are not originals?.

here r a few cars that came to my college for the auto expo.
they include a :BMW M5,slk 230 ,sl 500,a civic modified,a heavily modified ambassador (it had a isuzu engine with endeavour springs cudnt talk to the owner) it also had these mad woofers.i also heard the amby was capable of speeds in exess of 190kmph .there is alo a picture of my modded corsa.

Saw a rare sight yesterday, 4 door Bentley Continental in dark grey. Waiting at the lights in Teynampet. By the number plate I'd say it belonged to the same owner as Chennai's yellow Lambo. I was getting crushed on all sides by traffic, no time to snap a photo. It was a similar colour as in this sample pic though, quite an amazing sight on our crowded rainy streets (!):

Dude no offense,but why pics of Civic,Corsa etc in this thread. This is meant only for imports,exotics and supercars

Btw,isnt that red merc a SL55 AMG?

Yes it isnt an AMG SL. Its an SL500. The M5 is really nice.

The modified amby does not have a ISUZU engine but a 4.5 Liter, 6 cyl FORD engine. Here is a link to the thread containing more details.

The black Merc AMG belongs to a famous doctor. you can catch the car outside "IN-Shape" gym between 7-9am daily at their Alwathirunagar Branch. Apparently (as per the gym staff) he also owns quite a few High-end bikes including a Hayabusa.

as for the M5,i guess it belongs to a famous tamil actor. the one who tried his hand at racing. im not entirely sure of this though.

No the m5 belongs to the saravana bhavan.he has aso got a evo 8 with a evo 9 kit.a red one.

Don't think it's saravana bhavan guy's car.they're usually xxyy or yyxx..don't know if it's ok to post the numbers.the auto expo I think was held in svce.slowly the auto scene is opening up further.looks like chennai's thinking of making a mark on the automotive map outside of automotive manufacturing..

The pic which i have put up (bently) was pondicherry registration.did you see the same?
