Damn ! That's pathetic ! Sad to see the B in such a state !
Wonder how the rim got bent only a little bit (on the tyre which has come off) !
Was the car turning left or right ?? Because the left front has been damaged whereas the divider is on the right side of the car. A very very poor sight !

Those images are Gory, highly graphical....best part was that both guys survived.

flyingspur really shouldn't be on this page. He'll be feeling terrible!
Its almost miraculous that both the people in the vehicle survived. Just goes to show how far car safety has come.

Let us all realise that we are human first & petrolheads later.please:

This is absolutely correct. I haven't stopped thinking or praying for that driver since I saw that video.

My diagnosis of the accident was the left front hit the barrier while the car was traveling at 150-200 kph, which kind of catapulted it into the air. From the looks of the markings and the lack of markings on certain parts/portions of the car, it got airborne and landed the hardest on the right and rear side and tumbled and rolled through the air a few times. That wheel/rest of the assembly would have just snapped off like a twig from the sheer impact with that barrier(probably directly on the rubber), and that could have been from the inside or the outside of that wheel or suspension setup.

You would be amazed at how vehicles can catapult and fly through the air. Unfortunately I witnessed with my own eyes a friend in his Jeep Wrangler Renegade go off a highway behind me at 65mph(approx 100kph) and the front end dug into a snowbank, the Jeep then catapulted end over end through the air, landed first on the roof, bounced, and then landed on the wheels. In between the points it hit the ground, it flew through the air like you wouldn't believe(50+ feet of untouched snow in between bounces). I believe this Bentley did something similar from the looks of the gouges and where/how the damage is.

BTW, I believe my bro in law posted those pics above(I know he is on here, but didn't know his screen name.. however now that I see it.. it makes perfect sense :D )

From a friend of a friend's facebook page. Apparently his uncle's Rangie. Crashed into a stationary bus at around 140 kmph.

A stationary bus parked on the right side of the road? :Shockked:

That bus driver's license must be canceled immediately and not give him the privilege to apply again, ever! That said, doing 140 km/h would render his argument mute.

Hope the occupants made it through without any serious injuries!

By God, that is one terrible crash. Hope the occupants were safe. The insides of the car seem to be quite intact, surprisingly, except for the multiple airbags which have inflated.

From what I can decipher on his facebook, the driver/occupant(s) are completely safe from harm. I really have absolutely zero details on this crash but will try to find out more.

Edit: Happened on Mumbai-Pune highway near Gandhi Hospital. Apparently RR driver was drunk. Yeowch.

Quite a few exotics getting involved in write-off accidents. Very sad but at this rate, the business in scrap and parts of these exotics will boom few months down the line in India.

Now that is just plain inexcusable! Driving while drunk is a serious offense. Sad that money doesn't give you the ability to think rationally and not pick up a drink when you know that you've a drive ahead of you.

That's a good and positive way of looking at it! :p Although, no one wants these accidents to happen in the first place!

Ah, by driver I meant 'chauffeur'. Not the kinda person I'd like to trust my car/life with.

got this on email from a friend. Not sure where, when and how this happened

The X6 is repairable, must have hit a two wheeler by the likes of it

Going by the white paint and TN registration, is this the Tamil actor's X6?

Very gruesome crash(for the car) at Marine Drive. This happened very recently and the driver is safe. I used to see this car parked everyday and hoped to buy it someday when it was for sale. So far for it now
