Well that was for importing under a fake hotel's name & selling them off to others for cheap. This is being imported by the owner's & instead of being rented out as is the rule, they're using it for their personal use.

Hmm. The owner of Sun & Sand in Juhu is doing the same with his CLS. By the way, what's the duty for importing this way?

You pay 3% customs duty if you import under EPCG.

Several Indians in Dubai also have RR's and Bentleys.
I mention it on the thread as they are still all indian passport holders.

I was in al habtoor (the local Bentley Dealership) getting my GT done for servicing, when we spoke about the cars being sold here. 80% are sold to arabs, maybe 15% to other nationals, but surprisingly, he said around 10-20 have been bought by Indians.

In Dubai, there are around 6 RR's owned by Indians. One is a big construction magnates son who has huge holdings in India and is a household name. He has lots of supercars- a 911 turbo, XK8, Gallardo, S600, SL500 etc. An amazing garage.

A bohri trading family also has one in Dubai, and claim to have an older brookland in Vadodra- their hometown.

A school group owner, A hospital owner and a sindhi businessman have one too. 1 maybach has been bought by an indian. He is onto civil engineering in the Middle East and India.

Bentley Arnage in Mumbai

Here's a pic of the DL registered Bentley Arnage. Seen it quite often (around Bandra/American Consulate/even Ahmedabad highway!!) but finally managed to get a snap as it zoomed past. Royal and stately, oh yes, and then some more.

Pics : Rolls Royces & Bentleys in India-bentley-arnage.jpg

If more pictures of this car have been posted before, someone please provide me with a link! Thank you.

Happened to see a stunning 'Bottle Green' colored Rolls Royce at ITC Central this afternoon. That color made the car look absolutely Royal. Probably one of the best RRs on road.
It had a MH-14 registration. Couldn't click any pics as i was with my clients.
Anyone else spotted the same?

Spotted a white RR Phantom passing by Mithibai today. Had an MH-02 ** 2 registration. Haven't seen this particular white Phantom before. I know of another white Phantom, pics posted in the bentley thread.

Spotted this bentley on my way to office in bombay.
I was surprised to see that no one was gathered to see such a beauty.
I am posting the pics of the car and you can even see my copper rust ford fiesta in the background.

This white phantom has been around for a while. Its the most widely used Phantom i have come across.
Verrry often spot it at Vongwong (nariman point),Prive and around the area, even saw it waiting outside Metro adlabs while the owner watched a movie. Nice to see a super luxo limo being used to it's fullest, rather than sit in the garage waiting for a special "occasion" to roll her out.
