Completely agree with you. These exotics deserve some metallic shades.

I too feel that the face-lifted 7-series looks better than the S-class any day. The S-class lacks lines and curves - basically it lacks the Charisma that the 7-Series exudes. The 7-Series is curved and a bit bloated at the right places....also the front and the tail rock!
Not to forget, the RR Phantom has borrowed it's powertrain and electronic components from the 7-Series and knowing this fact adds to it's beauty. :P
IMHO, the M3, 6-Series & M6 and 7-Series are the only good looking Beemers available in the current Bangled range.
Edit: BMW X6 added to the list of good looking Beemers of the current gen.

In terms of performance, yes; in terms of looks, I like the tail, but hate the front, specially the grille and the headlights. Aren't the looks the reason why we hate Chris Bangle?!

I hope the M1 brings back the glorious days of a performance Beemer.

Yeah, I too hope so. The M1 prototype looks pretty promising. Let's wait and watch.

Yes the XC was a Mumbai registered one. The S80 was still on TN-21 test plates. I guess the cars were on display since many people were checking it out. There were 2 XC's and 2 S80's.

From the wheels its seems the S350 is either a CBU version or direct import. Its having a attractive 9-spoke 18" wheels. Its also having a flag post holder on the left side of fender, just behind the head lights. I also guess that its having a bi-xenon head lamps, but its not clear as the photo is blurred.

The S

It's a direct import from Germany. I saw the car order form, and it had every option in the list ticked. He would have opted for the European delivery programme, but work got in the way. And i didnt know that the black knob like thing in the side was a flag holder ! More pics soon.
