Imported S350, & 730d.

This S comes with the parktronic system, bi xenons, and everything Merc has on offer, except the distronic cruise control system. Even comes with the optional nightvision (mostly sure, must confirm about this).

After having travelled in both, in my opinion, the S350L is miles better than the 730d. The Beemer is more involving to drive, cause the steering's more responsive. But it's nowhere as comfortable, or has a plush ride like the S. Im sure anyone who owns one can vouch for me. If i was putting my money down for a large saloon, comfort gets priority. If i wanted more performance, i would pick up the M5 or something. Long live the mighty S ! But hats off to the big Beemer too. Quite a fighter.

there is a new 7 coming soon , hopefully it would put a bigger fight against the s class . Intrestingly merc wins the battle in this segment but it has failed miserably with the maybach while bmw has succeded spectacularly with the phantom .

Absolutely in agreement. The S is more comfortable while the BMW, being a BMW, scores better on driver involvement and handling.

Awesome picture!

S

Thank you GTO. The best part is both these cars are in their natural colours. The S in silver, and the 7 in blue.

Here are earlier pics, when he used to have the S320 CDI. It was the first W220 S in the country apparently, and after 6+ years of faithful service, was replaced by the W221 S350L. Even the S320 was a direct import. Had unique (but ugly) rims compared to others. Before the switch, the 7 seemed lightyears ahead in technology !

Godspeed, Thats is someones parking area and it seems to be a bungalow. And the way the cars are parked are the owners concern. Take a look at how V16 a.k.a. Gogi parks his cars. They are closer than these. Does that mean it is a club too???

Clearing a doubt.

Godspeed, its in a bungalow, not a club or anything. why would i click pics in a club, and say that they are my uncle's cars ? and they are not parked that close to each other. i was asking that the car's be placed like that, so that i can get a decent shot.

Totally agree with you.Long live the mighty S!Many people used to laugh at me when i used to say the 7 is nothing compared to A8 or the s just because it was bigger.
