Indeed it is the exact same cap that I bought. They do have some gorgeous sunglasses too but they are expensive. Coincidentally I am also booked to visit the Museum in PorschePlatz later in the year. I would dearly love to own a Porsche someday, but the state of our Indian roads are a major deterrent. I m thinking it is best to make those holidays to some nice country with good roads and infrastructure once or twice a year and experience these vehicles by renting them for a short time.

I forgot to post this pic. This was present in yesterday’s Cars and Coffee meet. What a great looking vehicle.

Of course this must be a full import since the Genesis Brand doesnt yet exist in India. And Hyundai’s effort to go upmarket certainly seems to look and feel the part, right down to the timeless elegance of the British Racing Green shade and that gorgeous winged logo, in the best tradition of all those classy Brit Automobile marques.

I know this is a back to back post but I adjudge that this car is sufficiently rare here in India to warrant pride of place in its own special post.

Been years since I was last bothered by the placement of front number plates. Why can't the designers see that except for a handful of places every other place mandates front number plates!!! Have to look good on the road, not just in magazines or showroom floors. I guess the radar something below forced them to put the number plates above.

A Subaru Imprezza WRX STI in the signature blue shade, replete with bonnet air intake and the showy yet deserved rear spoiler. Probably the second generation (GD) facelift as it was not the 'bug eye' version

I think this car had its engine out a few years ago. Saw some pics of it , open to correction as the pics didn’t have the number plates visible but it was the same gen and colour and I don’t think there are too many around

I saw a Lizard Green Porsche 911 Carrera Targa Top today afternoon near Koramangala 1st Block but could not take a photo. What a car! Driving very sedately and not making much noise either. He had turned from the Koramangala 80 feet road and was heading towards the Agara side. What a car! Unbelievable how soul stirring the sight of a Porsche is.

Spotted this 911 on St. Mark's road and this BMW M2 competition (zoomed by so fast I couldn't even get my phone out in time).



There were so many more supercars I saw during my brief stay in Bangalore, but unfortunately couldn't photograph them as I was actively crossing the road: more 911s, two Ferrari 295 GTBs, a Lamborghini Huracan and what looked like an Alpina B7. And it seemed as though half of India's Skoda Octavia VRSes and BMW M340is were in Bangalore too!

Great catch, Shankar! These older Z4s are super rare. Did you get a glimpse of any other badging that could possibly indicate the engine-specification? What was the exhaust note like?

The chap left me in the dust rather rapidly hence I was only able to get this photograph.
I wasn’t able to see any other badging. And yes, the exhaust had a very nice roar.
He turned off the street onto a side street just after I managed this pic but I didn’t follow him there lest he think I am some kind of stalker.
