And that CLS320 CDI was brand new. The GM of the dealership told me it had just come in, plus was the first diesel CLS in the city.

Oh, thats a good number even when only petrol variant on offer. Ya, I too feel its a real threat to 5-series' sales. It's a much better car.

Whats the colour. If it's carneal red (meroonish) colour, then I've seen the same more than a month back at the showroom. Since I've not gone inside I'm not sure whether it was CDI version!

The display car was maroon. So were all the other models, on the floor. I guess it is Merc's official colour. The CDI version isn't out yet, according to MBIL, and Sundaram motors. The new E is available as the E350 only, in India.

I also inquired about the E Class coupe. MBIL isn't going to launch it in India, according to this dealer.

CDI version of CLS was avaialable few months back. I've seen it in MBIL when I went there for the inauguration in the month of Feb '09. Since its CBU, it's avaialable, but most of the customers were ignored about it & dealers are poor in educating it as there may be stock avaialable with them & they'll try to push it. If you compel on a specific model, they may act as if they'll try to contact company inorder not to lose the order. Otherwise they will only try to push the models in their stock, not only Merc dealer, but almost all the dealers.

E-coupe might not be avaialable now, but I'm sure it'll be in offer soon as CBU once the diesel varient of new E is out!

Audi TT Coupe Silver Colour : Bearing Kerala number near Jewels Paragaon

Porshe Cayman again a Silver, parked at Gold's Gym near Richmond Road.

RR Phantom once again a silver one, in Kormangala 80FT road near VLCC

Also, there is a LHD ,Red Nissan NSX , (a beauty she is) , parked at where I have recently shifted, a few steps away from my car :-))).

Will try to post the picture, after the permission is granted by the owner.
