Re: 'Indian Motorcycle' to make India debut

Indian Motorcycle opened their Bangalore dealership today at Infantry road. They invited some of the known riding groups for the launch and they acknowledge the groups with a small memento. We from #LLBs rode along with Indian bikes from ITC Gardenia to their Infantry road showroom post which the showroom was officially opened. Roadmaster and Dark Horse models were also unveiled.

Have my own doubts about these bikes surviving in the market dominated by Harley and Triumph with their current price range.

Frankly the bikes somewhat lacked the character... Triumph thunderbird and Harley Fatboy were looking and sounding awesome next to it and it actually costs half the price of that of an Indian chief. this is purely my opinion.

Also, Scout looked little small for an average Indian height. Again there are much better options in that price range.

Indian Motorcycle has inaugurated a dealership in Mumbai. It is located in Jogeshwari (E) at Unit No. 4 & 5, Hubtown Viva on the Western Express Highway and run by Auto Hangar (India) Pvt. Ltd. The dealership will cater to the region of Western Maharashtra, including Pune.

Thanks jkdas. As per the showroom, this is the first Scout in Kerala. And this is at Ernakulam. There has been a delay with delivery as the Bike was not yet in the system and the RTO authorities took their own sweet time to get this done. Since the bike was not in the system, the tax could not be paid etc.

Here is Savio with his ladies.

The dealer had the same issue here at Chennai, the RTO took their own sweet time to get the bikes "approved". They have sold 4 bikes here in Chennai so far.

Re: 'Indian Motorcycle' to make India debut

Any idea as to what happened to the Mumbai Indian Motorcycle dealership?

The one on the Western Expressway?

It used to be between Triumph and Benelli. But, now has been replaced by a Kawasaki showroom. Where have they moved?

Re: 'Indian Motorcycle' to make India debut

Someone just bought a Roadmaster Elite for 50+ lakhs on the road . Wow, that sure is a lot of money for any kind of vehicle, leave aside a motorcycle.
