Yes, same guy with the roadliner. |
Aha, I've been introduced to him at his shop in heera panna. I was really surprised to know he rides big bikes when I saw him first.

Is he the same guy who was riding a midnight roadliner when we went for the first ride of the season? He was with the Thane guys who met us at Kamats.
My favorite is the Two Brothers. They are loud but not high pitched like D&D's. They have this throaty bass to them. My next bikes going to have one for sure when I get one.
I think I know which F3 you're talking about. I've heard it with a Yoshimura. Somehow the older Yoshimuras were better because they were louder with a nice note. The new ones these days are such a waste. I wouldnt pay money to buy something quite, I'd much rather keep the stock exhaust. |
I've not heard a Two Bros. Waiting to after all the accolades I've been seeing. My lists adds to Vances & Hines (what became of them?), Akropovic, Yosh, Alphabet (one bike, 25 years ago), Kerker and a couple of names that elude me.

I had called Vance & Hines a year back and asked them why they dont have exhausts for all the sportsbikes and they said that they were concentrating more on cruisers at that point but were going to start with the sportsbikes again sometimes soon. I guess they just forgot about it!
By the way Kerker is now owned by Supertrapp.
As for the Two Brothers, if you're around Indiranagar keep your ears open as you might hear the blue Busa that I posted. I can assure you, you'll hear it before you see it ;).
Manish, that blue 954 doesn't have a left rvm??
Same was featured in a south indian movie long ago, had seen pictures then.
netchef, suzuki refinement is quite commonly known or referred to, have heard the term from the old timers around here. Not sure if they'd say that about the new age suzuki liter class though.

Theres a similar one for sale in south bombay is what I heard from anku. Lots of aftermarket stuff with it as well.
Here's the Honda Hornet 600 that I rode to Bangalore. Extremely smooth, fun to ride and quick. Ideal bike for the city.
want to see superbikes.just visit one of the garages off queens road ..near congress building..once i saw two busa's in one of the garages there..happened to be there coz my friends CBR 250 was getting serviced there..
I have seen that gold/bronze hornet at more than a couple of dealers in the city, from the suburbs right to south bombay.
The blue 954 is a KA right??

Yup, this one was floating around for quite a while. That guy wanted it when he saw it but then sold it off in 2 months because he found it too light.
I dont know the registration of that bike. I used to see a blue one in lokhandwala which belonged to the owner of a sheesha joint just below Sykes gym.
Oh look! First ride of the season.
Thats one thing that seems to bother me too, the new age street bikes are way too light, and a lot more powerful than they used to be. This probably gives a slightly insecure vibe to a rider.
Good thing being that they look (AND ARE)almost as fancy, wicked, fast as their race replica siblings.

Yeah, the new 1000 RR is supposed to be 178 hp. Thats close to the new Busa. Good thing its got that traction control-like feature.

By street i meant the naked bikes, fz1, fazer 600, hornets, etc when compared to their race replica siblings like the blades, gixxers, ninjas and the works.
