Congrats Archish!

I reckon the first few times will be a challenge due to the size of the vehicle.

Drive safe and have a great ownership experience!

Archish, comeon after driving Qualis for 7yrs now you are asking how to drive the Innova.

If you know to drive a car with gear that is more than enough.

Gowda Mate,

I dint ask how to drive Innova. I just asked if there was a particular style. And also any points to look out for. Each car has its charactertics. We learn about these things as we drive. Small small things do make a difference. So, i thought i would ask ppl here and get a head start.

Archish, before experimenting on the limitations of the Innova, get used to the car..
Get it checked up from the authorized toyota service center. Drive safe. I should say it better than Qualis and it gives you comfort of Sedan.

Please mention what is that you want to know for driving an Innova ???

Coming to my experience 1st i drove Maruti Van, then came Esteem and then came The King - Tata Safari. You will just get adjusted by itself do not worry and enjoy your driving.

Congrats, Archish on your innova.

A wise and practical decision mate. It is a matter of few kilometers for you to get adjusted to this comfortable mile muncher.

Ahaaaa...

No issue dudes.

Im sure i would enjoy innova. Will post pics and would write in Intial Ownership Experience section soon.

The points i was expecting was like, for example take Fiat Siena. I learnt so much about it after i got it.

* it has a very big and terrible turning radius.
* It goes fast like hell.
* Its a very heavy vehicle.
* Once it stalls, u have to turn the key to 'OFF' take out the key and go for ignition again, its called 'Anti Crank Mechanism' or something.
* The rear windows dont go down fully, it only goes down 80%
* The A/c compressor does not switch off even if u turn of the blower, u have to switch it off seperately or the compressor will heat up.

Was expecting ppl to tell me some unique features of this car.

congrats. I was searching your posts to find out what had become of the xylo which you had booked and had problems getting hold of. Glad to know that you did the right thing in the end. You can't go wrong with a Toyota. Congrats and do post pics of the new ride.

And start thinking of some ICE

That is in fact a safety feature.
Since Kids are only allowed to sit in the back seat, the window not going down prevents them from keeping their elbows or anyother part of the body outside.

It's sheer delight watching an Innova passing by from a distance, especially at the signals, it starts to move and turns into a direction, what a majestic look!

Just drive your innova too with such a grace. I'm sure, you'll have more satisfaction as you keep driving it. Have fun!

Innova is really a cruiser. Don't drive rashly in it. Simply cruise. It will take you places faster and comfortably without really redlining. Keep in mind that comfort of other passengers lies in how you drive.

. I too enjoy this.
Apart from innova, many other vehicles also look cool in this scene. Just for this view, I somehow squeeze to the front of a traffic signal so the waiting time can be made use of for enjoying other vehicles.
