Suman,

The photos on the post http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...g-20-a-41.html, page 41 and 42 kind of hint at the new Safari to be launched in the market next year. Is this in your opinion, what is the Xover and not the Safari?
Would really appreciate your opinion as I've put my purchase decision on hold till the launch of the new'er' Safari.

Finally, I'm back in Delhi and as expected, I went to a Tata dealer the very next day. Had booked several test drives, but guess what, all showrooms were closed on Sunday. Found Rama Motors to be open cuz couple of employees did not know that it was a holiday. I told them that I had pre booked a test drive, but they did not have anyone to assist. Gave them a piece of me (Don't like people who commit, and do not deliver). Finally got a TD and a deal on Safari LX under 8l. More on the deal to follow.

True. I was there with him and helped negotiate the deal. It's a tad under 8.

Even I was surpised when it came to under 8l. Ah one more thing happened that completely skipped my head.
I saw a black LX in the Showroom backyard. Completely covered with DUST. I looked at @Rideon and went "D:Did U:you S:see T:that". I closed my eyes and imagined myself cleaning it. Sanity prevailed and I decided to go for a Cycus Grey.

Now i'm gonna book it on Thursday and have to worry about the accessories now.
Quick response and you are up for a treat.
Here's what I want.
1: ICE: My budget: 15k max: My preference: Blaupunkt. Not sure what speakers I should get.
2: Sun Films: 6k: My preseference: Garware / 3M, unless there is something else that i'm not aware of. Note I need front windscreen and side window films
3: Reverse Parking Sensors: My budget: 5k max: My preference: the one in GX
4: That big mirror on the rear windshield: Not sure how much it costs: Someone said Rs.250
5: Those small mirrors on the hood sides.

Cheers

Could you please share a break-up of the on-road price that you are paying?
