Re: Kolkata TBhp meet 7th April - Drive to Azad Hind Dhaba on NH2

i had a point and shoot camera where you can move the green box thingy [ ] to the a desired point and shoot so that the focus remains at that point. i think this has nothing to do with that (your pictures)

Nope, this camera debut during my Arizona roadtrip. So its been quite a while to be caused due to failing to note such an basic thing, am too familiar with it. Besides this problem is only a couple of days old.

I guess, Anirban pointed to the right direction, it was the drop. Although this was not the first time it fell. But then, a fall of a toddler cannot be compared to that of an old person, the effects are different.

Another possibility, in addition to the ones already said by sadnabrina, is the water vapor. If you have recently used the camera near the sea or near a waterfall, water might have got into the body, causing a blurry effect. If it is that, this should be gone in a few days. A similar thing happened with my Nikon S7.
That said, the pictures aren't bad

Nice to see a gathering of Cal guys that is akin to the regular meets of Hydeez. Good to see btirthankar too, though I could not spot his Figo or Innova.

By the way, that black Fiesta looks awesome. Is the spoiler a Ford accessory or an after-market one? And how much did the extra lights cost?

How I wish I was. But that was not the case. The camera was having quite a good time, almost doing nothing. Lucky dude, serves him right.

Zhat spoiler is from an NHC, if I am not wrong, which mostly I am.

No way that is from a Hyundai Accent tornado.

Sounds perfect. I proposed this way back in 2009. I look forward to and hope others will too. Saturday nights are perfect. Places like Sarat Bose Road, Elgin road Forum Side, victoria-Maidan and perhaps even Russel Street (towards Jeevandeep) are good assembly areas for 20 odd cars that we average.

That's exactly the reason why I stopped going to that very place and stay between 11pm and 4 am.

I'd say we stay stationed somewhere than roam the whole city. Members would be driving anyways to a certain spot from their destinations. We just need a good spot to parallel park our vehicles and have some good coffee/snacks etc. while we chat.

We can always explore unfrequented areas of the city after that (by the members who choose to) Let us keep options open and unimposing.

Pleasure to see you here vnabhi. Indeed that was one of a gathering. My Innova is sold and my current car Figo was undergoing servicing then.

It was just me, chillax I cannot see at night, now if the doctor tells me that i cannot see during day, then i will be jacked real bad at home.

What is there in a spoiler? it is a rear spoiler at the end of the day, be it from an NHC or an Accent.

I told you that you were right. how is Marengo doing now? take care.

Dropping again is an option I would not suggest

Better take it to an authorized service station for your brand. They should be able to fix. Cost would depend on the damage. If anything is broken, the cost would be high but if it is some alignment issue then they should only charge the minimum service fee.
