The 2013 Hyderabad Meets Thread : When is next one???

And now...my humble offerings!

Starting with the breakfast halt just outside Hyderabad, then the tea and bio break at Munnawar Dhaba and finally at the venue in Kurnool!

btw, the last couple of pix are of the unique Gujju-style "leaf less" paan brought by hyd_traveller!

Not in a mood to face the Chennai heat right now, though I know Pondy wont be any better right now. So, Ooty is ideal, and I'm anyway planning to do a trip in next 2-3 weeks.

Though it is summer, since kids have holidays during April / May (varies from state to state), we should do a weekend drive with family. Place / State / Destination - no bar. Drive meets - baar baar

We will plan for June. There are umpteen Hyderabadi Biryani joints in Chennai , but Im sure nothing comes close to Paradise / Bahar.
Ambur Star Biryani has the same reputation !!!

Guys,

There is a short bike ride meet planned for tomorrow ( April 6th).

Anyone interested is welcome to join. Dont mind even if you want to join in your cars

Plan is to ride till Pragati Resort which is near Chilkur and ride around Gandipet, Osman Sagar Dam. Spent some time near the water bodies and photo shoot and then head back to Jubilee Hills and halt at Bhimas Chitram for breakfast

Time to Meet : 7:00AM
Meeting Point : Hand Statue Signal at Mehdipatnam

Good to get back to tbhp after a long gap and certainly feels nice to see the action on meets evolving from long drive around cities to interstate kinds.

I look forward to join some of these soon.

Myself, Rajesh Rawal and Xydon went for a nice early morning ride towards Kokapet and some interior mountainous roads to a lovely spot discovered by Rajesh.

Its a steep road going down and when you reach the bottom, that place is surrounded by huge boulders and a great place for offroading

Then we rode for some distance on the service road and then moved towards Kokapet and headed towards Golconda Fort and then rode all the way back to Jubilee Hills wrapping the ride with breakfast at Chutney, Jubilee Hills

Hi Avi,

Yes I am! This summer, I plan to do a drive to Niagara falls, New York & New Jersey from Des Moines, Iowa with family. That would be a good long American road trip

I will be relocating this december back to our lovely HYD and the search for the next 'BOSS'(read SUV) is on...what else can motivate us better than that
