It was a great drive meet to Wgl. I am happy to meet many of you in person and of course the 'oldies' Avi, Rawal, Raveendra & Jr, Arun, Venu, Yash too.

The crowd always rocks and I am glad that food worked out well, without which I would have had to face lot of flak

The return trip to my home was the longest I have done so far from Wgl .

Special thanks to Gajadonga Jr, who was zipping through the roads to lead us to the PVNR expressway! Ecosportrules & myself were struggling to catch up the speeds!

Avi, appreciate your coordination and the energy 'bursts' that you provide to keep the TBHP Hyd chapter very active, good job!

It was the first long drive for my new car and I could feel the 'opening' up of it, in my return itself.

Firstly, a huge thanks to all folks who turned up for this meet and also those who were so nice to wake up early and see us off at the meeting point.

As is customary practice, we left the meeting point B about 30 minutes late as we were waiting for Vnabhi and Ram Alluri who were gunning their engines to the best extent possible but, somehow it just made them crawl even more...LOL

It was good to meet some new faces and especially the automotive crazy mallu (Crazybiker) who throughly enjoyed his ride ( assuming from his expression) while going by sitting in mammoth T-Fort and in my car on the return ride and seemed to have enjoyed his ride to the hilt.

We took off in our usual style, all engines widely open and everyone trying to show each other how heavy their right foot was and first 50kms was a blissful ride with 4 lane for which we paid Rs.110 ( Exorbitant for a return toll ticket) but, it was a revelation to see the Ford Ecosport "almost" keep up with the Cruze. Infact, not just the Ecosport but, even Ford Figo driven by young gun (Jayded) was also beautifully driven. Rajesh Rawal in his Polo TSI was all benchmarked to set a hot trail and run away into the horizon with a blaze of glory but, he was rather meek for most part of the drive and woke up a little later and showed all guys on the drive what a TSI can do. Great driving guys, was good company as I like people who can keep up with me

Most of the road was double road with good surface so we were easily keeping up a decent average and we reached Waranagal town around 11:30am but, were stuck for nearly 15 minutes in traffic due to a road blockade before reaching our hotel venue for lunch

The place and ambience is known to us and food was as usual brilliant except for a few snacks which werent really up to mark but, their mutton dishes are now legendary and i even took away a parcel of Gongura Mutton to relish it for a couple of days. Thanks to Srikanth for arrangement at the hotel venue and a special thanks to Autotryanny for his mallu wit and jokes. Almost reminded me of our dear mallu friend (Suren181) who left us a few months back.

Mrs Ecosport and Mrs.Shamanth were good sport and despite lack of women folk, hope they enjoyed themselves and will turn up for future meets and not disappear after this experience

Overall, it was fantastic and unique meet. Unique as for first time on a drive meet we had an almost equal headcount with respect to the cars which came for the drive and not joining as passengers which has kind of become a norm these days

Having busy days at work so will take some time to process the pictures from my camera which are approximately 60+ and share it here.

Lets open the new year (2015) with a drive meet in January. What say?

Young gun? I might fool you all with my looks, but I am not even close to being young, lol. Had a great drive this time around with the cruze, shamanth's city, Ram's Safari, the ruler ecosport & Dr. sir's Elantra as well, and yeah, I'm up for the Jan drive meet.

@jayded---I've not seen a Figo been driven that hard. Compared to our Kurnool drive, where you were trailing, you more than made up for it this time. Did you remap your car?

Thanks Venu sir, yeah I did enjoy the rush this time. During the Kurnool drive, the OEM MRFs were on it's last legs and hence didn't push it too much. The new found confidence is because of the lighter alloys and the relatively new Yoko C Drives. But yes, a remap would be awesome! Let's see.
