I am talking about Kanjirappally - Anakkal - Pinnakkanad - Thidanad - Erattupetta - Bharananganam - Pala. You need to take a right from Kanjirappally town to go to this route.

If you go straight, you can go via Ponkunnam. 2-3 kms from Kanjirappally, you will find "Elegance" if a restaurant beckons.

I don't think there will be any chances of fog in the Kanjirappally - Erattupertta route as these are normal altitude places. This is a curvy route - but used to be in great condition some time back. Not sure of the latest update though.

I spoke with Econest Asha Sadan, Wagamon this morning.

He has confirmed availability of cottages and rooms in the resort.
As of now there are only nine confirmed members as we see it.

Accordingly< i have blocked four family cottages for the four families + one large cottage for the five bachelors at the resort for the said dates.
Any more entrants need to pipe up sooner so that accomodation arrangements can be sorted out well in time.

I got a mail from Sagar at Econest this evening (the place where we have arranged the accomodation for the drive at Wagamon)

He has asked me to confirm booking ASAP, which indirectly means "Show me your money or move aside".
Our newbie Aswin_ajith is co-ordinating as a treasurer for the drive.
As mentioned earlier, we have pre blocked some rooms.

If anyone else plans to drop in, kindly update it in this thread as soon as possible so that the rooms may be arranged accordingly.

All members attending are also requested to deposit Rs 1000 onto Aswin_ajith's account for him to enable advance payment.

As informed I have to drop out from the plan due to an unavoidable family event that came in without much of advance notice. However I am trying my best efforts to join the day drive. Shall confirm couple of days before the drive date.

Some change in plans which shaped out in the last few hours.

There was some issue in accomodation at Wagamon.
Mistakenguy however salvaged the situation by booking another resort at Kuttikkanam.

So now, the drive meet destination has been changed to Kuttikkanam.

Kochi- Muvattupuzha- Thodupuzha- Moolamattom- Wagamon- Kuttikkanam
(123 Kms. Start Point Maradu)

Return route

Parunthumpara- Kuttikkanam- Mundakkayam- Pala- Thalayolaparambu- Kanjiramattom- Kochi
(127 kms. End point Maradu)

Resort booking has been done for three villas catering for three families and six bachelors (Three families and five bachelors have confirmed as of now)

We chose this road since it will anyway be dark by the time we will be crossing that place and we wouldn't get to see anything.
Moreover, this was opined to be the fastest route and after sundown, wouldn't it be better to reach back faster??

The trip is happening as planned.

The meet up point is opposite karingachira pass port office.
Meet up time- 0700 hrs.

I am not quite sure of the firm plans of breakfast, lunch or the sight seeing stops enroute.
