I have had a few back and forth conversations with GM from Suraj Grand since morning and he is adamant that INR 700 is the best price and as I had suspected he is not willing to give any different pricing for Veggies

At a point, he almost backed out and said you better go for Ala-Carte

He is citing the normal reasons that people do that its a small group (big group for them is 100 folks) and costing will not work out etc. etc

I have a couple of suggestions for your consideration as you deem appropriate:

- Minimum head count should be 30. With the few drop-outs the confirmations are 37 now. 35 could be touch and go.

- Suggest to pay as minimum as possible as advance and also as late as possible. With today's heavy rain in Telangana and AP, things are not very certain and a big rain on 10th night could upset the program. Better to minimize and delay the commitments. Anyways there should be a possibility for cancellation (god forbid) and refund in case of heavy rains or some such force majeur within, say, few hours before the event.

- In case there are last minute drop outs, I hope they (those who cancelled) will have a big heart to take up part of the commitment loss, if any. This is more so because you are paying for the team from your pocket.

Thanks for the appreciation. I have been organizing Team-BHP meets for a decade now. Incidentally, I complete 10 years as a member with Team-BHP this month

And, I have enough experience of how these meets work out so do not worry i will keep a cushion with respect to minimum amount that I will pay as well as the Pax confirmation

Honestly speaking have lost a lot money also in the past due to the casual nature of confirmations and declines by some members so my request to all is to be serious about your confirmations or else please do not confirm at all. Like Ravi sir always says, there is nothing called "Tentative" either you are in or you're out.....

While I wanted or rather want to be part of this trip very badly, a social event is being scheduled the very same day around the lunch hours.
