Ok. Lets keep the chat for the meet and use this as a place to fix times/places/people.

What we need now is:

1. A Place.

2. A final date and time

3. Start noting down who's in (for sure).

I like Viper's idea of Sheetal Bukhara. I also like my idea of Golden Moments (mini Punjab).

Ok the best I can come up with is Bade Miyan with Gokul right across the street.

Thataway you get good (yes yes not as great as it used to be) food, cheap booze and the cars are right there for you to show off/admire/scratch/dent whatever.

I'm cool with either Sheetal Bukhara or Golden Moments... (you forgot to put the ... at the end. I always laugh when I pass by and see the sign)

Not eaten at either of the places though, so please tell me whose dandiya to bend if it turns out to be crappy.

both places mentioned sheetal bukhara & golden moments food is good advantage with sheetal bukhara variety of dishes r more whereas golden moments similar to lambhas so people decide

Sheetal bukhara is more decent (ambience-wise) Food is very nice, north Indian style. It's a nice restaurant. But you can't act mad there. SB is known for great punjabi food and it would make a nice venue. Plus they have a club just behind the place called H20, after dinner, if some of us would like to party...

Golden Moments (..) is just a OK quarter bar, nothing fancy. But it's much much bigger than Lamba's. One thing, we can make noise and drink more at GM. Plus they have Koliwada fish and prawns. Big plus point for me.
For the veg, they(GM) have excellent dal makhani and some pretty good punjabi style veg food.

Both have their own merits. GM's cheaper though.

I think GM will be the right place for all of us, coz i think we all are going to act very funny and SB is not the right place for all of us. SB is more of kinda family restau.

OK, am back.

Sheetal Bukhara's a toilet - crappy food even. And the meet's on for the 20th, though pre-meet-meets may happen. Too much meet-meet. What say, Mummmeet?

And who was the monkey who even suggested Bade Miyan? You wanna park your gleaming rides in a shady bylane of Colaba whilst you drink yourselves silly, then have piping hot food served on your carbon fibre bonnets...???!!! Jeez man, you smoking regular stuff again or what?

Golden Moments... it is.
Good prawns/food, reasonable pricing, booze availability, & excellent soundproofing. Also, open till quite late, so we don't need to have those Orchid confusion peccadilloes. Also, nobody knows me there...
