These are pics of our humble steeds that carried us safely throughout the entire journey without a hiccup, the only exception was Nikhilb2008's souped up Civic that joined us for breakfast on day 1. It was spitting flames every time he lifted off and was a sight to behold at 5 am in the morning  First pit stop for breakfast  All set to get going again for the homeward stretch  All set to get going again for the homeward stretch  Perfect stretch of road provided for a good photo op. Special thanks to CBG for meeting us with his Honda City for lunch  Special shout out for this gentleman whom we met on day 1 at our breakfast halt. His pride and joy is a 1969 model. Though he has not stuck to the original script his mods are tastefully done!  |

Sat 19 Nov.,'16 After a hearty breakfast drove to Pichavaram for some boating through the dense mangroves Away we go...  Closing in  In there 1  In there 2  From Pichavaram to Bungalow on the Beach Tranquebar  From the balcony, vista1  vista2  Surprise, a click with a celebrity who dropped by for lunch  Post lunch, was free time. So it was a-la-carte - beach/pool/temple/Danish fort. Evening, as the sun set the moon and spirits rose in tandem when at the Cinderella hour it was called a day, hic End of day 2. To be contd... | Re: Team-BHP Meet @ Pondicherry-Tranquebar : 18th - 20th November, 2016 Day2 :From 4 wheels to no wheels, Pichavaram Mangrove boat ride  Getting ready for the convoy  Tearful goodbyes  Not so tearful goodbyes  All excited to know what lies ahead and the thrill of the adventure  Only to realize its only 3 feet of water all around  Enter the magical forest  Like a page out of jungle book (was half expecting to see Kha)  Tilt not really happy about the constant ducking to avoid getting impaled by the sharp branches hanging over our heads  This guy was really curious and made sure we left his habitat alone  |

| Re: Team-BHP Meet @ Pondicherry-Tranquebar : 18th - 20th November, 2016 Some architectural beauties in Pondichery (16th-17th century) The youngest in this picture is our very own FORTified  This door leads to the bathroom.Why is that significant? Only 2 rooms had doors to the bathrooms the others had to make do with a sheet hanging  One of the reasons the hotel is called a Heritage Non Hotel  Another view of the door  As tempting as it looks this is not cake icing  Well maintained wall art  Dining area  This building houses a small scale embroidery industry. Very artistic and everything is hand stitched  Looking at some places you would be hard pressed to realize you are still in India and not some European back lane  |
