The first guy who turns up gets his CCD bill sponsored by the last one to arrive at the scene. Hows that for making people come on time ?

Ya , thats very good point, im not too much familar with that place, but i guess it will be tough to park around 20 cars there ,as , if im not wrong the ccd is on mainroad itself, so i guess some one of us who stays around that place only could suggest an alternate place nearby , so that if we find it difficult to park over there, we can have a alternate place to park all the cars.

If you all are not too keen on having coffee, I could suggest an alternative. We could simply drive over to a lake located very near to the Meenakshi Temple after Hulimavu Gate. The lakeside has a brand new and long stretch of road. Windy and simply superb view to click some snaps and you could probably park a few hundred cars there.

What say people ?

I am game, but sometimes I think we need to allow the situation to evolve towards the "better" venue of lakeside.
This is how it could happen.
We all turn up to CCD. We try and park 16-20 cars. There will be a bit of chaos. Some NIMBY will complain loudly. We being reasonable and nice, will decide to all drive down to lakeside - just a few km away anyway.
And as long as there is a small kaka-shop selling tea, we will be happy.

we need to be fresh and alert in the meeting, specially after a long lazy day. no skipping coffee

That's good idea, lets meet up @ CCD , and then take call accordingly .

Count me in for sure !

About Parking :- (Please note the following points)

1) You can park around 4-5 cars at CCD parking here.
2) Make sure none of the cars are parked on this main road (being a busy road)
3) Other parking option - If CCD is on your left hand side, go straight and take immediate left (This is parallel to a canal). There is an inside road (Gully) and you can park your cars here. (In short on the backside of CCD).

I will try to reach CCD by 3.45 PM to make sure I can guide most of you to this parking area.

If you guys are really looking for a better option than CCD, then you have MTR (recently opened) near Mini Forest area in JP Nagar. (Location - Opposite to Shoppers stop). We can meet up here - have food / coffee and later spend time in Mini Forest.

But, I personally would prefer CCD. That would suit T-bhpeans more.

I thought we were going with Condor's suggestion of meeting up at Cuppa instead of CCD.

Exactly what I had in mind. Otherwise, we could just grab a quick cup from cuppa/ccd and proceed to the lakeside as well.

I'm fine with this idea.

Probably we can meet up at CCD and then proceed so none of us get lost further!

Only thing though, there's a high chance we'll get stuck in traffic at the Mandovi Motors T-junction. The intersection just after Shoppers Stop (considering you are coming from Jayadeva) has been closed so all vehicles take a right turn only at the T-junction resulting in a pile-up.

can the battle planner for the group please update the map with the final ingress, egress and the LZ for this mission?

Agreed, parking for so many cars will be hassle. To make it more difficult, the underpass that is there further ahead is operational now so this road has a lotta traffic.

So, either we meet at CCD, eat/drink and then head to the forest area OR

there is a barista on the outer ring road. Quite easy to follow actually, if you are coming from Silk board, continue straight after Jayadeva (if you coming from Banerghetta rd, do not get into the underpass at Jayadeva, instead climb up and take a 90 deg right); keep straight on this road, you will pass Bangalore Central on your left and simultaneously Big Bazaar and Manipal Hospital on your right; keep straight for a 1 km or so. There's a sports shop on the left above which is a Barista.

If you take a left there, there's quite a bit of parking space. At least 10 cars can fit if parked diagonal to the road.

If anyone is familiar, please give your opinion so we can finalize the venue.
